Michael is a Chartered Financial Planner and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Insurance. Michael initially started his career working in a Chartered Accountancy practice which gave a good grounding in personal taxation and account preparation. Having always had an interest in financial services and a strong desire to help people Michael moved into financial services in 2007. Over the last 15 years Michael has worked for a major high street bank and a FTSE 250 listed investment business where he has developed his skills as a Chartered Financial Planner. He has particular expertise in the area of pension transfers, investments and estate planning, and thrives on helping clients find innovative solutions to reach their financial planning objectives. On a day to day basis Michael spends his time meeting and speaking to clients getting to know them and understanding what is important to them. He also has a diverse professional network and can provide clients with recommendations should they need it to help ensure they have the appropriate support in place. Outside of work Michael thoroughly enjoys traveling to sunnier climates with South Africa being a favoured destination. Originally from North Wales he enjoys all things coastal, the outdoors and spending time with his family . He is forever on the lookout for new red wines to sample, plays tennis for his local club in Formby and has a big passion for rugby and football
