SeaBrick is a innovative, sustainable construction material developed by Kelp Island Inc., leveraging seaweed fiber composites also known as kelp for environmental and structural benefits. These materials are designed to meet the challenges of marine and terrestrial construction with a focus on cost-effectiveness, ease of production, and carbon sequestration... Our mission is to decarbonize global construction and provide holistic solutions for housing, food, and energy infrastructure... This project, we are calling Kelp Island 01, is planned for Q4 2025. SeaBrick members will pre-order sets of digital Seabrick, each a percentage of the 1,000,000 bricks to be used in the construction of the project. There will be 10,000 sets of Seabrick available for co-op members in Kelp Island 001, at a cost of $100 per set.
