Giacomo has had a long academic career, spanning two countries (Italy and England) and multiple degrees, including a PhD in environmental microbiology. In 2002, he helped to form Ecologia Environmental Solutions, which provided technical expertise and consultancy to companies in the contaminated land market. Ecologia has since expanded to several regions in the UK and Italy, adding multiple services such as geotechnical capability. Since RSK acquired Ecologia in 2019, Giacomo has been improving collaboration and synergies between companies within RSK. In 2021, he was appointed as managing director of RSK-IWS, working to provide innovative and sustainable solutions for waste collection infrastructure in the UK market. Giacomo is a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management and a Chartered Scientist.
Ian has more than 30 years' experience as a geotechnical and environmental engineer in the public and private sectors. He holds chartered status as an engineer, environmentalist and resource and waste manager. For waste disposal authorities, he has led innovation and development and the integration of strategies into regional waste management plans. He has managed and developed an experimental central processing plant for municipal solid waste. He is interested in using underground compaction systems to improve the aesthetics of densely populated urban areas and the overall sustainability of the waste collection process.

Nuno's career has spanned well over two decades in the waste management industry. He previously founded and was president of TNL, a world-leading company involved with waste management equipment. In 2018, he established WM-Planet, a waste management consultancy that focused on creating sustainable management plans for local authorities and other stakeholders. Nuno has vast experience of delivering waste management solutions, including collection systems for cities and for large-scale events. In 2021, RSK-IWS invited Nuno to develop the UK market. He has been instrumental in developing bespoke equipment and consulting on studies for local authorities. Nuno helps the company expand its reach, providing sustainable management solutions to the UK market.
Zandra has built an impressive career spanning multiple industries. She started in the beauty and dentistry industry before transitioning into industrial engineering, IT and finance. Throughout her diverse experience, she has been a supportive member of technical or management teams, helping them with their marketing engagement. In 2016, Zandra joined the direct sales team at RSK and quickly became an essential part of the team. She has supported various technical services marketing campaigns in the property and development sector.
