Adam Taylor - COO

Adam has managed large operations teams and delivered a wide range of system, operational and regulatory initiatives in over 22 years experience in financial services. He spent more than 10 years at Transact, the FTSE 250 investment platform, and before joining Kin he was Head of Customer Experience at Foresight Group. Adam is passionate about technology and how it can help to improve client service. He supports the Kin team across a range of areas, including overseeing operations, system development, IT and HR. He has a broad understanding of UK investment and Venture Capital. He holds both financial and project management qualifications. When not at work, Adam's young family keeps him fully occupied.

Andreea Andrei

Anthony Davies

Anthony has over 12 years' experience in financial services. He has been with Kin Fund Services for 5 years and is responsible for overseeing the activities of the Fund Management and Fund Administration teams. He has a particular focus on the safeguarding of client assets and managing the firm's custodian services. He is a Chartered Accountant, training at Deloitte before starting his fund services career at IQ EQ - the international private equity and real estate fund service / depository provider. Outside of work, Anthony spends his time rock climbing and bouldering.

Christian Elmes

Christian co-founded Kin Group. Having qualified as a chartered accountant at PwC and started in finance as an Investment Banker with Morgan Stanley, Christian entered the world of VC over 17 years ago. Since then he has been responsible for driving the development of both venture capital funds and successful operating companies. He is a keen advocate of giving investors better access to the Venture Capital asset class and in 2012 co-founded PrimaryBid; the only digital platform where individuals can join corporate fundraisings on equal terms as institutional investors. Christian is passionate about Venture Capital, with a particular interest in deal structuring and investment related matters. When not overseeing the firm's investment activities and general duties as Co-Principal, he maintains a number of non-executive board positions. When away from the office, Christian is either in the gym or following the fortunes of Arsenal Football Club.

Clarissa McKay

Danielle Faldo

Job Titles:

During her final year of studies Danielle completed work experience with Kin. She subsequently achieved a 2:1 in BSc Mathematics and a Merit in MSc Investment and Financial Management at UEA, before joining as a permanent member of staff. Danielle helps manage the team that services the firm's fund administration clients and ensures investors receive the best possible service. This ranges from when we first receive applications, to helping clients with queries, safeguarding client assets and making sure investments are made correctly. She also supervises and trains newer members of the fund services team. When not at work Danielle enjoys socialising, music and is a keen sports fan.

Deirdre Quinn

Deirdre is a qualified member of the Governance Institute UK and Ireland and holds a MSc in Corporate Governance with distinction from LSBU Business School. More recently, Deirdre obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School in London and she holds a BComm undergraduate degree from University College Dublin. Deirdre is currently reading for her Solicitors Qualifying Exams and aspires to become a qualified lawyer to better support clients navigate the regulatory nuances of UK Company Law. Deirdre has supported the Board of a FTSE 100 listed firm since 2015 in her capacity as Assistant Company Secretary before joining Derringtons to oversee the expansion of the Kin Company Secretariat department and build out the capabilities of the new team. Deirdre works closely with the company's publicly listed clients and their Boards and is passionate about promoting Good Governance practices with a keen emphasis on utilising technology to enhance all aspects of company secretarial and corporate governance support.

Ed Welch

Ed graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in International Business in 2019. He has previous experience working for EDF Energy within Nuclear Operations. Since graduating he worked in Peru, before returning to the UK and joining Kin Fund Services in October 2020. As the firm's sustainability champion he helps ensure the firm operates in a sustainable way and is currently studying towards Environmental, Social and Governance focused qualifications. When out of the office, Ed can be usually found on a surf board or planning his next surfing trip.

Izabela Nowicka

Izabela joined the Kin Fund Services team in July 2021. She has over 15 years of experience in international financial services, delivering diverse projects in areas of regulatory compliance and change, financial crime, oversight review, policy development and legal support. Before joining the team she was accountable for group risk and compliance policies consultation, regulatory reporting, and training at Capita Plc. Izabela strongly advocates integrity and transparency and believes in continuous progress, innovation, and change. She supports Kin in areas of Risk and Compliance with a focus on preventing financial crime. She is also closely involved with the monitoring and supervision of Kin's Appointed Representatives. Izabela holds a Master's in Law and Diploma in European Law from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Poland and International Diploma in Compliance (ICA). Outside of work, Izabela enjoys dancing, sport, travel and spending time with her family and friends.

Jane Muir - Secretary

Jane is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. She is founder of Company Secretarial business Derringtons. Richard Hoskins

Richard co-founded Kin Group. Having moved into finance after serving in the British Army, Richard began his interest in Venture Capital in 2005. Over the last 17 years he has raised money for, successfully launched and operated a wide range of Venture Capital Funds. These range from funds managed by household names to previously unknown VC managers, many of whom have gone on to become the largest firms within their particular niche. As Co-Principal Richard gets involved in a broad range of activities at Kin. His particular focus is advising aspiring Venture Capitalists on how to structure, raise funds for and operate their first fund. He is a member of the global CFA Institute, the UK's Chartered Insurance Institute, sits on the Enterprise Investment Scheme Association Regulatory Committee and has been described as "one of the most knowledgeable commentators on the venture capital world" (Telegraph, 2017). When not working he is either cycling, running or tending to his flock of Shetland Sheep.

Salima Fajal

Salima comes to Kin with 16 years of legal and compliance experience, business development, and client services at an international level. She is a qualified lawyer working in the Financial Services industry, having previously practiced in Paris and worked in London. Her career has focused on Alternative Investments, mainly Private Equity, and Venture Capital. Before joining Kin, she worked at Vistra, Campbell Lutyens, Apex Group, and Natixis. Salima is a fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments, a member of the Franco British Lawyer Society, and the Institute of Directors. Salima holds a master's in Business Law from Paris Dauphine University and graduated from the Paris Bar School. She is currently reading for an Executive MBA at London Business School, where she is the recipient of the "Diversity in Leadership" Award. Outside of work, Salima enjoys spending time with her family, which comprises her husband and two children.

Tom Brumby

Tom started his career in the lab, following an undergrad in Biochemistry from the University of Sheffield and a Masters in Genetics from Utrecht University in Holland. But, ultimately he swapped the pipette for the calculator and is now a qualified ACA accountant. Tom has extensive experience in financial analysis from his previous role at Langton Capital and a keen understanding of working with early-stage companies from his time at Holland Startup. At Kin Fund Services he guides VC Asset Managers through the investment process and uses his Fund Accounting knowledge for the benefit of Kin's Limited Partnership Funds. Tom is an avid music fan and when he's not training his emotional resilience as a Hull City fan, he's on the look out for the next gig.
