Founded in Bowthorpe, the Clocktower has had rather a colourful life. It first opened in 1998 after a generous three quarter million makeover, transforming into the Clocktower Artists' Fare, under the warm stewardship of Dena Etheridge and the Morland Brewery. It wasn't just a pub, it was a meeting place, a landmark with a clock that reliably ticked above happy chatter and clinking glasses. Over time, it evolved into the Castle Carvery Clocktower we know today. A place of roasts piled high, Yorkshire puds like lifeboats, and children darting through the FunFort play area... We maintain and update this policy to reflect changes in our services or legal/technical requirements. The current version was last updated on 17 September 2025... Situated on the outskirts of Norwich city centre, the Clocktower offers exceptional value, family friendly service and quality dishes.
