Alex Elston

"Hello, my name is Alex Elston. I have been a resident of Windham for the last 34 years, I have grown up in the town and have come to know many of the people as friends and neighbors. I am very excited to be joining The Dental office of Dr. Leslie A. Elston. Yes, we are related. She is my sister; as such I know her well and can positively say she is a fair and upfront person who is committed to integrity and honesty; the care for her patients is second to none. I hope you will come see us and get to know her yourself. As the office manager, I will be caring for both the general operations of the office and helping our patients with any concerns they may have.

Dr. Benjamin Harwood

Dr. Benjamin Harwood, a lifelong Mainer, grew up in the Winthrop Lakes Region just outside of Augusta. Dr. Harwood attended the University of New England in Biddeford, ME where he received a Bachelor of Arts with a minor in medical biology. Continuing with his education at the University of New England's Portland campus, he received his degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine. Dr. Harwood was one of only four students in his graduating class to receive an award for clinical excellence. Dr. Harwood is committed to comprehensive, patient-centered care and loves that he is able to serve his Maine community. He is passionate about performing evidence based dentistry through the use of the newest dental materials and technologies. In his free time you'll find Dr. Harwood at the lake, boating and fishing. He also enjoys hockey, mountain biking, skiing, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Julissa Guerra

She was born and raised in Guatemala. As a teenager, her orthodontist enlightened her to what became one of her biggest passions: Dentistry. In essence, dentistry fulfills her strong desire to help people live better and healthier lives; it also combines her fascination for science, art, health care, and business management. She enjoys caring for others and guiding them to attain healthier smiles. When she was 20 years old, her family moved to California, the placed she called home for the next 10 years. Moving to a new country came with many struggles, including learning a new language; but she was determined to become a dentist. She spent her first year in California mastering the English language before enrolling in college. A few years later, she graduated with honors at California State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and minored in Chemistry. During her undergraduate years, she was very involved with the local Pre-Dental Club, where she volunteered in different organizations and helped to create a community outreach program to teach oral hygiene at local elementary schools. Julissa attended the University of the Pacific, Arthur A, Dugoni School of Dentistry to pursue her Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2016. She then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency through TUFTS University School of Dental Medicine. She fell in love with the diversity and exceptional beauty of the State of Maine, where she has lived for the past 4 years. Dr. Guerra enjoys trying new foods, learning new cultures, and cooking new recipes. She also spends some of her free time outdoors hiking, kayaking, and exploring new places. She is very happy to be joining our team and offering her services to the local community. Not only is she passionate about providing gentle, anxiety-free dentistry, but also, she feels very strongly about staying current with new techniques, procedures, and technology under the guidance of evidence-based dentistry.

Tim Kilgo

I am originally from a small town in Texas. I moved to Maine in 2009 and fell in love with the natural beauty of the state. I currently live in Buxton on a small hobby farm, raising chickens and goats. In my free time I enjoy fishing, hunting hiking, riding my motorcycle, and photographing wildlife. I have been a dental assistant for six years, working in community, private, and specialty practices. I am excited to work with Dr. Elston and the patients in Windham. I am pleased to assist Dr. Elstons' passion for cosmetic dentistry and the dedication she and her patients share, to obtain and maintain a healthy smile and lifestyle. I hope to help Dr. Elston and her patients by being highly efficient and providing a clean, organized, and calming environment. . I am pleased to help educate patients and provide a great experience to improve their oral health. I enjoy working as a Dental assistant; meeting new patients, building friendly relationships, and easing patients with anxiety so they have a wonderful experience.
