Alison Simpson

Alison Simpson is a customer-focused marketing leader with 20 years of experience helping brand owners secure and optimize their online presence. Her multi-faceted work experience in marketing and operations roles for corporate registrars has cultivated a deep understanding of the domain management and brand protection industries. Alison has extensive experience helping brand owners develop and implement detailed domain name strategies and internal processes to reach their specific objectives and goals. Whether she's helping a startup build their online presence with customized domain registrations or helping a large corporate brand pare back a bloated domain portfolio, Alison understands the value of domain assets and the impact they can have on your bottom line when correctly managed. Her considerable experience includes a 15-year tenure at corporate registrar, MarkMonitor. During her time at MarkMonitor, Alison served as the Product Marketing Director, creating and driving MarkMonitor's go-to-market strategy. In her early years at MarkMonitor, she was a Client Services Manager, responsible for the day-to-day management of large global domain portfolios. Alison most recently served as the Director of Registrar Operations at a leading brand protection company where she led the registrar organization, including customer service, registry operations, compliance, and registry billing. She also participates regularly at ICANN and has written numerous blogs, led several webinars, and spoken publicly about developing effective domain management strategies. Alison brings her domain name expertise to Defining.com managing Corporate Domain Services-advising companies on domain name strategies and best practices, and providing customized recommendations and tools to maximize portfolio values.

In his previous role as Founder/CEO of INK, Todd was solely responsible for generating over $50M+ in agency revenue and serving as a strategic advisor to over 300 CEOs over a 17-year period. Todd led the team at INK to be recognized as Inc. Magazine's Fastest Growing firms, 5 years in a row in their prestigious Inc. 5000 list. Prior to founding INK, Todd served as a Lead Character Animator at DreamWorks SKG, where he was a member of the team that created the inspiration for the Kung-Fu Panda franchise. Todd started his agency journey as Chief Creative Officer at Viant-a publicly-traded digital transformation consulting firm. Over his impressive 30+ year career, Todd has specialized in building multi-million and billion dollar brands-from naming and domain acquisition to strategy, sales enablement, branding and activation-and everything in between.
