HENLEY PARK WINES - Key Persons

Lance is winemaker and viticulturist at Henley Park Wines in the Swan Valley. Lance's interest in farming began on his family's farm in his early years and travel around the world as a child with his Father's work. His work in Hospitality began his interaction with wine and pursuit of understanding how flavours transmit from the fruit in to the final wine. This eventually led to him studying a Bachelor of Science in Viticulture and Oenology at Curtin University where he received the Dux accolade. Lance has over 20 vintages of experience that includes overseas vintages in Portugal, Germany, USA, France and Italy. Having done 15 years at Houghton Wines he is now working 4.5 hectares of vines and the winery at Henley Park Wines. He has judged at Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, Perth, Swan Valley, Wine Show of Western Australia and Margaret River Wine Shows. In 2018 he also attended the prestigious Len Evans Tutorial.
