REGIONAL RESILIENCE

We were formed in 1995, and became a 501(c)3 non-profit in 1999. During our initial years we focused on a regional pilot project known as Conception Coast Project. In this project we had a strong emphasis on providing ecological science and information, often in the form of maps and spatial analyses, to the regional community (Santa Barbara County and beyond.) For example, we produced the Regional Conservation Guide, a 153 page report developed over 3 years with extensive input from the community. It has many analyses and is summarized with 23 maps.
