Dr. Peña practices dentistry with compassion and works to connect with patients to reach their treatment goals. Dr. Peña knew she wanted to be a dentist from a young age and in high school applied to New York University College of Arts and Sciences' combined 7 year BA/DDS program. After completing 3 years of undergrad studies and graduating with honors, Dr. Peña was accepted into NYU College of Dentistry. Dr. Peña is the recipient of Dental Dean's Scholarship and the Hispanic Scholarship awarded to her during dental school. During her time in dental school Dr. Peña participated in multiple outreach events promoting oral healthcare for children. She was the president of the Oral Cancer Walk Committee and of Saturday Academy - a program geared toward helping high school minorities with college applications.
After graduating dental school, Dr. Peña was accepted into NYU Langone - Brooklyn general practice residency. Dr. Peña was asked to remain as Chief Resident for the following year and was able to complete more complex cases in all aspects of dentistry including cosmetic, endodontic, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Dr. Peña's primary goal in treating patients is to provide comfort and offer the best care and treatment possible. When Dr. Peña isn't working she enjoys to travel to the Dominican Republic to visit family, discovering new foods, and reading.

The son of a 50-year veteran in the field of dentistry, Eric Weinstein, D.D.S., P.C. had a passion for dentistry that began in his early childhood. He grew up in North Valley Stream and graduated from a three-year program at Adelphi University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He attended New York University College of Dentistry and graduated top of his class in 1991. He furthered his education in a post-doctorate general practice residency program at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, where he served as Chief Dental Resident until 1993.
Dr. Weinstein first entered private practice in Bayside and Valley Stream and with his father for a year. He went on to open Shine Dental Group at 600 Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead and his practice grew from two chairs to nine chairs with a full-service, in-house dental laboratory. With the expansion of his dental practice he moved into his current state-of-the-art location across the street at 639 Hempstead Turnpike in Franklin Square. Drawing on the vast knowledge he attained during numerous hours of continuing education, he established a patient-centered practice that incorporates the latest technology and most current techniques in dental care. Working together with his Board-Certified Periodontist and his Orthodontist, Dr. Weinstein is proud to offer patients complete dental care under one roof.
In 2011, after 20 years in private practice, he and his two partners opened Shine Dental Associates of the North Shore, located at 400 Jericho Turnpike in Syosset. The establishment of this upscale practice fulfilled his dream to open an office in the style of a posh Manhattan hotel. His attention to detail and knowledge of interior design greatly contributed to the creation of a luxurious masterpiece in the North Shore of Long Island.
Dr. Weinstein's participation in many dental societies, his thirst for advancing his dental career, and his genuine chair-side manner make him an outstanding clinician and exceptional member of the dental community. He maintains his attending position as part of the medical staff at North Shore University Hospital at Franklin Medical Center in Franklin Square, NY.
His compassion for elderly and homebound individuals prompted Dr. Weinstein to establish the Visiting Dental Care of New York division of his practice, which provides patients with dental care in their homes. He visits hospitals, extended care facilities, residences, and nursing homes to provide all types of dental services at the convenience of his patients and their caregivers.
Dr. Weinstein's dedicated staff has been with him since he first began in private practice, and they support his endeavors to create smiles that last a lifetime and to make it affordable for patients to receive the care they want and deserve.
Dr. Weinstein resides on the North Shore of Long Island with his three children and his wife of 13 years who is a dental hygienist who graduated valedictorian of her class.
Dr. Nguyen graduated from NYU College of Dentistry with a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery. He did additional post graduate training through General practice Residency at Northshore-Long Island Jewish Hospital system. Dr. Nguyen was intensively trained in all aspects of dentistry.
When he is not working, he takes his children and wife out for family time. His hobbies are traveling and playing tennis.
Dr. Nguyen believes that he can restore and improve his patients' confidence and quality of life by providing beautiful, healthy smiles. Also, he loves interacting and educating patients about prevention of oral diseases.
Dr. Nguyen is compassionate and understanding and will do whatever it takes to ensure his patients are relaxed and comfortable. He is a certified Invisalign provider and loves to help patients obtain a straight, healthy smile. Dr. Nguyen treats his patients with such care which makes them love coming to the dentist. These are the main things that make Dr. Nguyen love the wonderful field of dentistry!
Jericho, Long Island was originally a part of the Robert Williams planation. It was inhabited mostly by Quaker families in the 17th century. The Quakers sought to have a farming community and that is exactly what they created. It was named Jericho by these Quakers because they had fled religious persecution in England and found America to be a "Promised Land." Jericho was a little town in the Middle East near the river Jordan.
After World War II a large part of Jericho was sold to Real Estate Developers. Jericho began its suburbia transformation as homes for the middle class were built. Jericho has its own schools and post office right in town.
Jericho, Long Island is a small hamlet with a big history. It's a great place to live with its proximity to New York City. It is also a nice place to visit.
It is said that All Roads Lead Home…if there is any truth to that then no doubt Dr. Goldenberg calls Shine Dental home!
From the moment he attended the prestigious Bronx High School of Science he knew he wanted to be a dentist. At least that's what his mother wanted for her "nice Jewish boy" and she engrained in him that calling. Following his graduation from Rutgers University, he chose to pursue and enjoyed a successful sales career with a manufacturer of medical and dental equipment. Traveling every week, around the world, staying in nice hotels, and dining at fancy restaurants, he interacted with some of the greatest leaders in medicine and dentistry. But he was discontent as he now had a family and didn't want to see his children grow up with him absent. At the age of 30, he made a life-altering decision and was accepted into the New York University College of Dentistry. While in dental school, his experience as a parent came in useful as he excelled in treating children and was elected as President of the American Society of Dentistry for Children's school chapter. At his graduation in 2002, his proud mother merely said "I told you so. What took you so long?"
A 1 year General Practice residency at Peninsula Hospital was followed by a successful associateship with Shine Dental Associates and then as owner of a growing practice in East Rockaway until it was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. Not one to be deterred by challenges, he continued to improve his knowledge and in 2016 was elected as President of the New York State Academy of General Dentistry. Continuing education and providing the highest level of care to his patients has been a pillar that he has established for himself. In 2017 he was recruited to be a part of a start-up dental group. Having successfully accomplished what he wanted to, he returned to Shine Dental Associates in 2019 which was an easy decision for him as its core value "What's best for the patient?" is exactly what he wants to offer. Trained and skilled in all facets of general dentistry, Dr. Goldenberg provides expertise ranging from routine dental exams to placing dental implants to replace missing teeth.

When not working, Dr. Goldenberg can be found watching a dental webinar, attending a dental continuing education course, or food shopping and cooking for his family. He also enjoys singing in his car, riding his motorcycle, and scuba diving.

Dr. Satish obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, she went out to complete her General Practice Residency at New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital. She then decided to diversify her clinical knowledge and skillset and was selected to be Chief Dental Resident for an additional year at New York Presbyterian Cornell Hospital in NYC.
From a young age, Dr. Satish was always passionate about health advocacy, quality access to care, and health education for patients. Prior to her career as a dentist, Dr. Satish went on to pursue additional Masters degrees in Public Health and Public Policy at Stony Brook University. By combining her humanitarian interests with dentistry, she went on to collaborate and participate in multiple international and national dental outreach mission trips, including starting some health outreach programs and dental screening programs of her own.
Dr. Satish pays close attention to detail and is enthusiastic about providing patients with comprehensive dental options and beautiful results; all while making sure the patient is well informed and comfortable every step of the way. She has training in every element of dentistry including Invisalign, implant restorations and restorative planning for full mouth rehabilitation. Dr. Satish ensures to put her patients first and strives to provide quality dental care in an empathetic and ethical manner. In addition, Dr.Satish was just accepted into an Implantology Program at NYU ; - so shortly she will be able to begin placing implants as well.
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Satish enjoys traveling, learning, volunteering, exploring new restaurants and spending time with her friends and family.
