Tiburon Security Inc. announced today that Phillip J. Cline, former Chicago Police Superintendent has accepted a senior board member position and will provide consulting and oversight services to Tiburon's clients. As Superintendent of the nation's second largest police department, Phil Cline lead a force of 13,500 sworn and 3,000 civilian personnel. His priority was to reduce violent crime in Chicago brought on by gang, guns and drugs. In doing so, Superintendent Cline introduced a series of violence reduction strategies that lead to unprecedented decreases in homicides and shootings in Chicago.
