Pat Johnson has focused her more than 30-year legal career on commercial law, with an emphasis on government guaranteed and conventional commercial lending and real estate law. She represents lenders in a variety of SBA guaranty related matters, including loan eligibility issues, closing, servicing, liquidation and guaranty purchases. Pat is also a designated closing counsel for several Certified Development Companies operating in Idaho and Washington.
Pat has extensive experience in both conventional commercial loans and SBA 7(a) and 504 loans from negotiation and documentation of agricultural, business, and development loans, through negotiation and documentation of loan modifications, workouts, and forbearance agreements, as well as judicial and non-judicial foreclosures, bankruptcies, and post judgment enforcement actions.
As a Subject Matter Expert in 2014-2015 Pat worked extensively with BNY Mellon/Colson in the development of SBA One. In addition to her wide experience in the private practice of law representing lenders and creditors and handling general business matters, Pat served 11 years as District Counsel for the U.S. Small Business Administration in eastern Washington and northern Idaho and Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Washington, representing the U.S. Small Business Administration.
In her free time Pat enjoys sculling and open water rowing races, cycling, running, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing. She also volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters and two greyhound adoption groups. Pat and her husband have six well spoiled and loved greyhounds.
