LEATHERSELLERS

St Helen's Place in the City of London has been our home since 1543. The seventh and current Leathersellers' Hall was opened in 2016. Along with providing a space for our members and staff, we offer the Hall for the benefit of our partners across charity, education, leather, and the City of London... Leather has a long history. Its many artefacts continue to be sources of information and inspiration. We support the work of the Museum of Leathercraft (The Leathercraft Trust) to promote and preserve the history of leather... We have a long history of supporting opportunity through education, having awarded our first student grant in 1602. Today this is primarily delivered through partnerships in South East London through our support of the Leathersellers' Federation of Schools and Colfe's Scholarship programme, as well as our flagship Undergraduate Scholarships (Student Grants) programme.
