Since its inception, United Way of Newfoundland and Labrador has grown from an idea to a reality. Established as United Way of Avalon in 2004, it quickly evolved into a provincial organization by 2009... Since 2005, United Way Newfoundland and Labrador has been supporting programs and initiatives that benefit all of us in one way or another - directly or indirectly; Through a family member, a friend, or a community resource that you've utilized yourself; From St. John's, all the way to Nain, we've played a role in reducing poverty, providing opportunities for youth, and servicing initiatives aimed at making our communities vibrant and inclusive.
