Helix was established in 2010 as a specialist transport planning, traffic and highway engineering consultancy providing professional advice, technical analysis and planning submission documents to both private and public sector clients on a wide range of developments... Helix specialises in providing transport planning support and advice on all aspects relating to private sector development, but over the years we have also undertaken a number of projects for the public sector to assist with development policy or maximising asset value. We are a flexible team with expertise in all aspects of transportation planning... Helix started with the aim of providing a personal service to local developers mainly based in the Gloucestershire area. The company was established by James who, after 20 fruitful years working for large multi-disciplinary engineering companies, sought a more direct connection with the work and healthier work/life balance.
