WV BAR FOUNDATION

We are a nonprofit, grantmaking foundation (501(c)(3)) that offers grants to improve the administration of justice. Applicants may apply for grants through our quarterly grant application process. We offer the Justice Larry V. Starcher Public Service Scholarship to a WVU College of Law student interested in pursuing a career in public service. 25 th Anniversary History... Each year, we recognize individual judges and attorneys who have demonstrated high achievements, high accomplishments, and a high commitment to the legal profession and the community, the West Virginia Bar Foundation Fellows. We host an awards dinner, the Foundation Fellows Dinner, to celebrate these individuals. We also host an annual Lunch & Laughs with a Legal Legend event, where we recognize an individual and perform a friendly roast!
