Since Qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor Daniel Smethurst has worked at Directorship level with a significant number of institutional funds, developers, property companies, occupiers, TMT and Creative Companies together with private individuals. Daniel's reputation is as a market leader in a wide range of projects and land uses, including office and Industrial consultancy, disposals, acquisitions, investment, development, refurbishment, and workplace strategies. Knowledge is key to success and having been active in the Southwest markets for over 20 years Daniel is able to draw on his past experiences to facilitate future challenges. Aside from the fundamentals of strong business acumen and integrity, the foundation of Daniel's approach is based on strength of relationships through extensive industry contacts, effective communication, and his ability to get the best out of people to drive performance. Personally, Daniel enjoys cycling and has a newfound love of Gravel Riding although by his own admissions he is built for going down hill rather than uphill. Daniel also enjoys fund raising for charity and his most recent challenge involved completing the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path in 8 days (unaided Daniel has over 18 year's commercial property experience having previously been a Partner at an established firm of Swindon commercial property agents and a Director at an International firm of commercial property brokers. Daniel studied at the University of The West of England (UWE) and is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyor (MRICS).
