Andy joined the firm on leaving University in 1997 and has been with Mabe Allen for over 24 years. Andy specialises in advising our SME sector clients on various financial and taxation matters across a broad range of business sectors, including pension schemes.
The aforementioned ranges from preparation of management accounts to more specialised "one-off" assignments, such as financial due diligence and forensic accounting, all to ensure that our clients are supported in the process of purchasing or selling their business. Andy's hobbies, apart from his three children, include motorsports and doing quizzes. Andy is also a keen Derby County supporter.

Chris is based at our dedicated office in Ripley, although he is always happy to provide services and advice to clients in the surrounding areas. Specialising in owner-managed businesses with a particular emphasis on agricultural clients, you'll be able to look to Chris if you need help with business accounts management.
Having spent over 50 years in the Practice, Chris has an extensive amount of industry knowledge to draw upon. Outside of work, Chris has a number of interests and hobbies which include walking and travelling.

Geoff has been with Mabe Allen for over 25 years and uses all of his experience to look after a variety of owner-managed small businesses in various sectors. James is a Chartered Certified Accountant and has sixteen years' experience across varying business sectors of the SME range.

Jason specialises in advising our SME sector clients on various financial and taxation matters across a broad range of business sectors, providing support in all areas of accountancy, indirect & direct taxation, trust & estate tax compliance & advice, and business advice in general. Jason has a keen interest in wildlife, sports, and outdoor pursuits, he is a keen gardener and enjoys days out walking and cycling with his family.
Julie manages the Payroll Department, which is based at our Ilkeston office. She manages the payroll for numerous businesses from single sole traders right through to large companies with over 100 employees.

Kevin has been with the Practice for over 40 years. Kevin is an Audit Partner and advises the SME sector on a range of commercial issues including acquisitions, strategic planning, and succession planning.
A member of the Institute of Directors and a Governor of Derby College, Kevin is a member of the Audit, Corporate Finance and Tax Faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Neil qualified with ACCA in 2000 and is an experienced Audit Manager here at Mabe Allen LLP. Neil has more than 20 years' experience in general practice across many industries and business sectors, managing an extensive portfolio of clients. He enjoys the variety that his role brings and has a particular interest in the charity sector.
Neil has helped to implement a range of new processes to further improve the services our clients are pleased to receive. He has recently championed the introduction of a real-time online bespoke software solution for our clients and is now looking to evolve the firm's digital offering to enable a secure document exchange and electronic approvals of accounts and tax returns online.
Nigel is pleased to have been with Mabe Allen for over 20 years. Stephen has been with the Practice for over 30 years since leaving school, and was one of the early apprentices to progress from AAT through to ICAEW Chartered Accountant status. A respected and trusted Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser across the profession and our clients, Stephen advises on all taxation and commercial matters relating to owner-managed businesses, individuals, deceased estates and trusts.
Stephen serves on the local committee of the Notts, Derby & Lincoln ICAEW District Society as its Treasurer and is also the immediate past Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Taxation East Midlands Branch. This has brought great strengths and benefits to both the Practice and our clients over the years in a very proactive way.
