Allan McGregor - After obtaining an honours degree in Economic and Social Studies from Manchester University (and a subsequent post-graduate qualification in HR Management), Allan spent 6 years with Rothmans International with roles in manufacturing (North East factory) and then HR as the HR Manager for the Africa Region. >>more After obtaining an honours degree in Economic and Social Studies from Manchester University (and a subsequent post-graduate qualification in HR Management), Allan spent 6 years with Rothmans International with roles in manufacturing (North East factory) and then HR as the HR Manager for the Africa Region. He then spent 4 years as a ‘head-hunter' working for MSL based in the West Midlands before joining Coca-Cola Schweppes just outside London, initially as the Head of Resourcing, and latterly as the HR Controller for the Commercial Division (Sales and Marketing). After 5 years at CCSB he was promoted to the role of Group Resourcing and Development Director at the Head Office of Cadbury Schweppes PLC, his role being to focus on senior level resourcing and the development of the top 150 executives worldwide. He performed that role for 3 years. Allan has 3 children aged 20+ and currently lives just west of London with his partner Bridget (a head teacher). He remains an active football player at 55 (5-a-side) and enjoys cycling, squash, tennis and racquetball. He supports (being brought up in Nottingham) Nottingham Forest Football Club and is proud of the fact!!

Debbie Manship

After a successful career as an actress, including several TV series (Angels, Dr Who, The District Nurse), Debbie established Role Call in 1989 as a training consultancy specialising in providing role-players and facilitators for training courses within both public and private sectors. Role Call's clients include HMRC, Astra Zeneca, The Cabinet Office, Fujitsu and Dell Computing, for whom Role Call has provided everything from management development courses through to live event productions. Debbie also has more than 20 years experience working with health professionals at all levels and disciplines, both as a facilitator and roleplayer. She and her team at Role Call work all over Europe within courses covering general communication skills, breaking bad news, informed consent, etc. and an enormous variety of doctor-patient scenarios. Role Call has worked with many of the major teaching hospitals throughout the UK and organisations such as Cancer Research UK, The Kings Fund and several of the Royal Colleges. Scripts for Conferences and DVD productions for UCB 'Could Do Better, Must Try Harder' (ADHD) & 'Home & Dry' (Urge Incontinence) and Johnson & Johnson 'Breathe' (Multiple Myeloma), are Debbie's most recent projects for Pharmaceutical companies. Joanna Harrison

After graduating with a Sport Science Hons degree, Joanna joined the English Institute of Sport at its inception in 2002. Shortly after joining the Institute and experiencing the elite sports environment, Joanna became interested in the person behind the performance (the challenges and difficulties they face) and her work moved away from a science background, towards more athlete support focused work. In 2003 Joanna became an Athlete Career & Education Advisor for the Institute and worked across Olympic & Paralympic Sports including Athletics, Boxing, Swimming and Cycling to name a few. In 2005 the Performance Directors of GB sports were consulted and a more performance focused athlete support service was created, named Performance Lifestyle. In 2006 Joanna became the Performance Lifestyle advisor for British Cycling working with all riders on GB Olympic and Paralympic World Class programmes. In this role she was responsible for the "off the bike" coaching and mentoring along with supporting the personal development and lifestyle management needs of elite riders across the performance pathway. Early on in her tenure, Joanna was fundamental in setting up British Cycling's Olympic Academy programme whose graduates include Mark Cavendish, Geraint Thomas and Ed Clancy. Joanna also supported the GB Cycling Team at the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games In addition, in 2010 Joanna was promoted to Performance Lifestyle Technical Lead where she has technical leadership and line management responsibility for a team of 7 Performance Lifestyle practitioners working across sports in the Northern half of the country.
