David Titterton

David is a Senior Quantity Surveyor and has over 35 years experience in consultancy, contracting and with the public sector. David's extensive experience includes a range of projects up to £80m in value. His expertise is managing QS teams and using the latest computer techniques in the production of reports, tender documentation (using variety of procurement methods) and financial reports.

Debbie Thompson

Job Titles:
  • Office Manager
Debbie is our Office Manager, having worked for Mascot for over 17 years. She is responsible for all company financial and administrative tasks, including administrative back-up to the technical staff. Having over 25 years experience in the construction industry in both administrative and PA roles Debbie is well placed to keep the offfice running smoothly and provides that all important link with our customers.

Fraser Scott

Job Titles:

Together with Dennis Makey, Fraser founded Mascot Management in 2001 and has over 40 years experience in the construction industry in consultancy, development, bid and design management and contracting. Fraser's experience includes project and construction management roles in a variety of sectors. He was previously employed by a major building contractor and a national commercial developer giving him an overall insight from all sides of a project. Fraser focusses on the initial phases of schemes in developing the strategy for delivery, to meet clients expectations with minimum risk.

Jason Evans

Jason is a Director with Mascot Management, heading up the Health, Safety, Quality and Environment group of businesses.

Joe Maith

Joe is an Assistant Quantity Surveyor at Mascot Management, joining our team in August 2023. Joe joined Mascot coming from a Main Contractor background. Experience includes delivery of hotel, commercial and residential projects.

Kieran Gelder

Kieran is a Project Manager with Mascot Management, joining us in April 2019. Kieran initially joined us for his industry placement whilst studying a 4 year BSc(Hons) degree course in Construction Project Management at Sheffield Hallam University. We were delighted that Kieran completed his course in the summer of 2021 obtaining a well deserved First-Class Honours Degree. Kieran continued to work for us while studying for a Masters in Quantity Surveying which he succussfully completed in 2022. On completing his education Kieran has continued with Mascot Management and we were delighted to annouce his promotion to Project Manager at the start of 2023.

Matt Clay

Matt is a Senior Quantity Surveyor with Mascot Management, his wide ranging experience covers different sectors including industrial, retail, education, healthcare and residential. Matt's expertise includes contractual practice, cost planning, measurement software, tender analysis and cost reporting. Matt graduated from Nottingham Trent University with an RICS accredited degree in Quantity Surveying and Construction Commercial Management.

Remembering Rob

In October 2020 we lost our much-loved friend and director of Mascot, Rob Palmer. Although everyone has been made aware of his passing, marking and celebrating his life has been much harder to do. Not only because we are still shocked and saddened, not only because lockdown stopped us gathering together, but because it has been so difficult to know where to start for such a valued and highly respected member of our team and still, with the inevitable passing of time, we feel his loss deeply. Rob was a truly larger than life character and in over 30 years of working with him, we never saw him lose his temper - he was unflappable, laid back and in that sense, a real asset in challenging projects. He was affable too, making friends out of clients and being an invaluable calming presence. Rob is very much embedded in the business and remains a big presence in our lives both personally and professionally, playing such an important part in shaping Mascot, building our way of working, growing our expertise and our reputation and sharing his warmth and humour with all. His professionalism, calmness, and technical brilliance made him a true asset to every project he led. He has left an indelible mark on the company, and on each one of us. We know from all the messages of support we have received that Rob was extremely well thought of by everyone who was lucky enough to meet and work with him.

Sam Wynn

Sam is a Director with Mascot Management, having over 15 years experience within the construction industry. Sam's experience covers both the public and private sectors, including the industrial, education, retail, residential and commercial sectors acting as both Quantity Surveyor and Employer's Agent. His knowledge and versatility across the industry has enabled him to adapt to individual Client or project requirements.

Tim Laycock

Tim is a Senior Project Manager with over 20 years in the construction industry. Joining Mascot in April 2019, Tim previously worked for a leading international consultancy managing a wide range of projects from sectors including education, healthcare, government and local authority. Tim brings his extensive knowledge of managing projects from early stakeholder engagement, design coordination, programme and contract management. Acting as the clients representative or contract administrator Tim has managed both JCT and NEC contracts extensively.
