The role of Ariel Childs, the company's Managing Director since 2011 and CEO since 2023, is to bring another level of perspective to every assignment we tackle. A conceptual thinker, attuned to client business needs, she works closely advising our teams to execute solutions that offer a distinctive point of view. It's a mindset that influences all of the creative, strategy, design and content the agency delivers, ensuring that it is always as resonant as it is arresting. Ariel has previously acted as Creative Director for Wallpaper* magazine, creative consultant for Hamburg's Axel Springer Verlag and Head of Press and PR for contemporary art auction house Phillips de Pury & Company.

Carlo Silberschmidt


Lina Kunimoto

A Winkreative veteran, Lina Kunimoto has been with the account management team since 2015, leading all projects across Asia with a particular focus on Japan. During her time as head of marketing and communications at the noted independent publisher Gestalten, Lina steered the company's transition from niche design publisher to international brand, complete with creative agency, font foundry as well as bricks-and-mortar locations. Before this, she lived in Tokyo where she worked at Design Association, the organisation behind Tokyo Design Week, as part of the international relations team that helped brands gain a presence in Japan through the design showcase.

Martin Colahan

"Martin is a key bridge between client stakeholder group and creative team for creative development and client service." Martin has been helping clients across Europe and the APAC region solve complex business problems through design and creativity for over eight years. He's worked with Swisscom and the LVMH Group, helped launch Westfield's flagship location in Australia, and seen Optus become ‘Australia's strongest brand' - all while building relationships between clients, teams and the wider creative community.

Maurus Fraser

Maurus Fraser, Winkreative's Creative Director for over two decades, knows a thing or two about bringing what makes brands unique to life. He's developed strategically-driven design solutions that have defined some of the world's most impactful brands - and he's heading the Winkreative design team to create visual and experiential worlds that help shape our clients' businesses. A firm believer that a good identity is the product of bold ideas and meticulous craft, Maurus is committed to producing outstanding design that will serve the future needs of both brands and their audiences. Combining classic Swiss graphic design training with extensive international experience in the field, Maurus' work has been recognised by the likes of D&AD, Clio Awards and Creative Review. He's also a regular speaker at some of the world's most renowned design events.

Nanako Sato


Tyler Brûlé - Chairman

Tyler Brûlé, who founded Winkreative in 1998, applies his experiences as a journalist, editor and publisher to the agency's work, always thinking critically and creatively about opportunities for our clients. He also acts as Monocle's editorial director, connecting the dots between both companies with his sense of entrepreneurialism, worldly outlook and quest for quality. Canadian-born, Zürich-based Tyler started his career in broadcasting as a reporter with the BBC in 1989. He founded Wallpaper* in 1996 and left the magazine in 2002 to concentrate on Winkreative. In 2007, he brought Monocle to newsstands, screens and audio devices around the world.
