David joined the business in 1987 and has played a leading role over the years in developing David Williams IFA into one of the UK's leading independent financial planning practices.
He is now a non-executive Director and Company Chairman. His areas of involvement include governance and strategic planning and with over 40 years in the industry, he endeavours to use his considerable experience to support the firm's other Directors.
Nick Beal - Managing Director
Nick has nearly 30 years' experience of working in the financial services industry and joined David Williams IFA in 2000. He was involved in the business during his final years of playing professional rugby for Northampton Saints and remains connected to the club as a board member.
Nick is a Chartered Financial Planner and uses his high level of technical knowledge, combined with the drive and determination needed to succeed in professional sport, to provide a high level of service to clients.
His skills have contributed significantly to the growth of the business. As managing director, he is responsible for the day-to-day running and long term development of David Williams IFA.
Stephen joined David Williams IFA in 2013 after a 20-year career as an award-winning financial journalist, latterly helping readers through his columns in the Mail on Sunday newspaper. A Chartered Financial Planner, Stephen is using his unique experience and wide industry knowledge to guide clients in all areas of financial planning. He chairs the David Williams IFA Investment Committee and is the firm's Compliance Officer.
Sue has been with David Williams IFA since 2009, working in a variety of support, administration and managerial roles. Having most recently been Office Manager, Sue took up her current position at the start of 2020. She manages the office, oversees all non-advisory staff and has responsibility for our day-to-day relationships with key providers and suppliers.
