St. Columba's Day Centre was purpose built, so it is wheelchair friendly. It has a slightly inclined ramp at the entrance and hand rails throughout the building. We have toilet facilities adapted for wheelchair users, with raised toilet seats and a pull cord alarm system in place. Our service is open to people of any religion or faith. We are open Monday to Friday from 8.30am until 4.30pm... Our service is open to people with a diverse range of needs. We can cater for people with physical disabilities, people who have mental health problems and mild to moderate dementia. All members have individual care plans and once they start the centre they are allocated their own key worker. To become a member of the day centre you can either be referred by social services or privately... We are a day centre for elderly people who are in need of social stimulation and interaction. We have a fully trained care team, who offer a caring and friendly service to all. We provide a pleasant day out..
