Bosco Lam

Bosco Lam leads on WilkinsonEyre's transport portfolio, focussing predominantly on major infrastructure projects including HS2 Old Oak Common Station, Crossrail Liverpool Street and the recent redevelopment of Bank Underground Station to improve connectivity and capacity. His commercial experience has enabled him to identify opportunities for oversite development as well as wider regeneration and masterplan potential in major transport projects. In addition to his rail experience, Bosco led the delivery of the multi award-winning Gardens by the Bay Cooled Conservatories, amongst the largest climate-controlled glasshouses in the world. Bosco has extensive experience of liaising and working with local authorities, stakeholders, statutory bodies and other third parties as well as participating in public consultation. He also has significant experience of working in large multi-disciplinary project environments and has gained excellent project and design management skills whilst maintaining an active role in the design process.

Dominic Bettison

Dominic Bettison led the winning competition submission to redevelop an area of downtown Toronto, as CIBC SQUARE. The development comprises two high rise towers connected by a park and integrated into Union Station, a new city bus terminal and the Toronto Path pedestrian network. The first tower, 81 Bay Street, completed in 2021 and the overall development completes in 2024 with CIBC as the anchor tenant. He has delivered a series of high-profile international projects for the practice including the 440m-high Guangzhou International Finance Center, one of the tallest buildings in the world, and the 330m-high Yuexiu Fortune Centre. In the UK he designed the 16-storey landmark development at 10 Brock Street for British Land and the Hauser Forum at the University of Cambridge, which provides office and research space for start-up companies. Dominic is a member of CTBUH and has lectured on high rise developments at conferences around the world, including the Ultra High Building Summit 2008, and Tall Building Conferences in 2009 and 2012. Dominic was also a guest speaker at the Office Building Conference in Kuala Lumpur in 2013. He is currently a member of the London CTBUH Urban Realm Committee.

Ed Daines is the Director of WilkinsonEyre Australia, play ing an essential role in many of the practice's projects in the region. He has over 20 years of experience designing and delivering high-quality UK and international projects across a variety of sectors. His current projects include 600 Collins St, a significant new office tower in Melbourne, which aims to create the next generation of sustainable workplace. The signature commercial project will deliver more than 60,000 square metres of collaborative office spaces, adaptable to the changing needs of a digitally enabled workforce, imbued with wellbeing features and high levels of tenant amenities. Previously, Ed has been the project lead of the CIBC Square, a two-phase commercial development in the heart of downtown Toronto which comprises over 3.5 million sq. ft of office space, retail and a new public transport hub located on Bay Street. The project also features a substantial new elevated public park constructed over the main rail corridor across the city. His portfolio also includes work on Battersea Power Station in the UK and a range of infrastructure and masterplan projects. He enjoys all scales of projects and all stages of design and delivery, taking pleasure in distilling often complex briefs to find elegant solutions. Ed has spoken at industry conferences and other public events and communicates effectively and persuasively with stakeholders throughout the design and construction process.

Giles Martin

Giles Martin has led several of the practice's high-profile commercial and infrastructure projects. He is inspired by precise construction detailing and material technology and is motivated by the possibilities of developing these themes on large, complex urban developments. He has extensive experience in London on planning applications and construction projects, working closely with planning departments and clients to achieve consent, and leading the scheme through to completion. One of his most challenging ventures has been heading up the design team on 21 Moorfields, an important scheme above Moorgate station in the City of London, completing in 2023. This integrates the Elizabeth Line station - also by WilkinsonEyre - with a new headquarters for Deutsche Bank. Giles recently completed a pair of glass bridges that connect 1 and 2 New Street Square for Deloitte. He has also headed up design teams for various TfL and HS2 masterplan projects, and BBC's Media City in Salford - which combines office, broadcasting and public spaces. At the heart of Giles' design approach is the use of contemporary systems and new materials to add an important dimension to the design repertoire - one that results in enhancing the experience of architecture in people's lives.

Matthew Potter

Matthew Potter leads the Hong Kong office and has played a pivotal role in many of the practice's award-winning projects in the region. He recently completed the ‘Sky Bridge' at Hong Kong International Airport, the world's longest airside bridge that allows the largest passenger aircraft, the A380, to pass under. He is currently working on the restoration and the Grade I listed State Theatre, new conservatories for the China National Botanical Garden, an innovation building to support the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology's entrepreneurship programme and a state-of-the-art campus on Pokfield Road for the University of Hong Kong. Matthew worked from WilkinsonEyre's London office for 11 years prior to establishing the Hong Kong office. His past projects include London King's Cross Gasholders, the re-purposing of the Grade-II listed triplet cast iron gasholder; Guangzhou International Finance Center, one of the tallest buildings in the world; and was the project architect for the Cooled Conservatories at Singapore's Gardens by the Bay, working on the project from the initial, competition-winning designs in 2006 to its successful completion in 2012. Matthew has played a key role in establishing the Green Review process at WilkinsonEyre and was instrumental in seeing its inclusion in the practice's ISO14001 accredited Environmental Management System. He is adjusting the Green Review process for the Hong Kong office to take account of local codes, practice and climate.

Oliver Tyler is highly experienced in delivering well-executed projects within demanding timescales and securing complex planning consents on a wide range of project types, from commercial office schemes to sports arenas and high-profile infrastructure projects. His is currently leading 8 Bishopsgate, WilkinsonEyre's tallest building in London and a major contributor to the City's Eastern Cluster, completing on site in 2023. His other key projects include the recently completed Elizabeth Line Liverpool Street Station, the £500 million reconstruction and oversite development of London's Bank Station and the Emirates Air Line cable car over the River Thames. Oliver has a particular interest in the technical development of materials and the advancement of building envelope design and enjoys the careful detailing and expression of materials to create the finely crafted buildings that are a hallmark of WilkinsonEyre's architecture. He has guest lectured at Oxford Brookes University, is an editorial board member of the New Steel Construction magazine and sits on the judging panel for the Structural Steel Design Awards.

Paul Baker

Paul Baker's portfolio at WilkinsonEyre includes some of the practice's most important artistic and cultural projects. At the core of his approach is an interest in how architecture can be integrated into its context across the disciplines of urban design, landscape architecture, planning and environment - and in particular, exploring how this holistic approach can contribute to long-term sustainability and regeneration. This has proved a vital asset to the practice. His passion for creating spaces that intrigue and delight on both an intellectual and emotional level has led to his continued work with key visitor attractions around the world. His portfolio includes the Alpine House at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, the RIBA Stirling Prize winning Magna and a series of projects for the Science Museum in London including the award-winning Challenge of Materials Gallery, the Making of the Modern World Gallery and the Wellcome Wing. More recently he has overseen the extensive redevelopment of the Wellcome Trust's Collection building and has worked with global brand, Carlsberg on the restoration of their historic brewhouse into a visitor centre and brand experience. One of Paul's landmark projects is the Cooled Conservatories at Gardens by the Bay, Singapore, a spectacular, highly sustainable destination that explores the relationships between plants, people and the planet. The project received the World Building of the Year Award 2012 at World Architecture Festival and the RIBA Lubetkin Prize in 2013.

Leading the Sports and Leisure portfolio, Sam has delivered award-winning projects including the high-profile redevelopment of the Compton and Edrich stands at Lord's Cricket Ground for the MCC, the Basketball Arenas at both the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympics, and the Liverpool Arena. His work has been instrumental in expanding WilkinsonEyre's work in the sporting sector both in scale and design ambition. Sam also has a strong commercial track record, including the delivery of 8 Finsbury Circus and Gresham St Pauls, two office schemes on high-value sites in the City of London that combine refurbishment and new build elements. For the University of Oxford, he completed the Earth Science Building, while projects overseas include a million square foot office park development in Cairo, WilkinsonEyre's first project to be completed in North Africa. Alongside his architectural duties, Sam is responsible for the practice's Design and Quality Management System, and reviews procurement arrangements across the practice.

Sebastien Ricard

Sebastien has taken responsibility for various projects in the UK and internationally, including cultural, commercial, mixed-use and bridge projects. Recently he has been the director in charge of Battersea Power Station, the major restoration and repurposing of the iconic Grade II* listed Battersea Power Station. The project provides a mixture of uses, including residential, office, retail and entertainment, delivering successful placemaking and creating a campus-like quality. Sebastien has led the design of a number of practice's bridges, particularly in France, including the Salpetriere Bridge, Paris, a 19m wide pedestrian and cycle bridge, due for completion in 2023 and the Viaduc de la Savoureuse, completed in 2011. Sebastien's experience in the international construction industry has led to consultancy roles on new infrastructure and cultural projects around the world. He designed and delivered the Crystal building in London's Royal Docks, a showcase of architectural sustainability and was designed to achieve BREEAM Outstanding and LEED Platinum. He also led the Bath Southgate transport interchange, the refurbishment of Grade II* listed Brunel building, a new bus station and a public piazza, including a series of retail units.

Within the practice, Yasmin leads on modern methods of working and creating productive, effective workspaces. Her architectural strength lies in a strong sense of design, combined with practical construction knowledge of materials and details. Having worked in both small and large practices and on projects of differing types and budgets over time, she has gathered a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the building process. Yasmin is leading the retrofit of the Citi Bank Building in Canary Wharf, one of the largest workplace refurbishment projects in Europe, which will create an exemplary benchmark in healthy, sustainable and balanced ways of working. She's also leading Thavies Inn at Holborn Circus, a new ten storey building delivering 89,000 sq ft of workspace as well as 2,000 sq ft of ground floor retail. She is recently led WilkinsonEyre's delivery of a new £19 million centre for Science, Technology, Arts and Mathematics at Gresham's School, which enables new approaches to teaching and collaboration. Yasmin has worked closely with Dyson, designing their R&D campuses in Malmesbury and Hullavington as part of the two overarching masterplans, as well as the Dyson Demo shops in London, New York, and San Francisco.
