Mr. David Weston

Job Titles:
  • Headmaster
David was educated at St Columba's College in St. Albans and then went on to Oxford Brookes University where he was awarded a degree in English and Sociology. He completed the Graduate Teaching Programme through a Teaching Alliance in North Bedfordshire. David began his teaching career locally at Lordship Farm School but after two years moved to London and began teaching at St Joseph's in Rotherhithe, South-East London. Moving quickly on to the senior leadership team and working as Senco he then became Deputy Head of St Joseph's in 2016. David is a keen runner and is on the committee of a successful local running club. In addition having played rugby for many years he now enjoys watching from the side of the pitch when possible. David knows that a happy and secure child will have the best possible learning opportunities and always strives to make a safe, fun and secure learning environment for all children.

Mrs A Bradford

Annabel studied Classics and History of Art at the University of Cambridge, and then completed her PGCE (Primary) at Homerton College. She has worked across the primary age range in both the state and independent sectors before joining Kingshott in 2019. Annabel is in the final stages of completing her NPQSL (National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership) with UCL. She is a keen musician and performs regularly in Cambridge and beyond. She has two sons who have both attended Kingshott.

Mrs C Garofalo

Job Titles:
  • Deputy Head
Clare has over 25 years educational experience. Previously Mrs Garofalo led St Joseph's Primary in Rotherhithe, London. 11 years as Deputy Head and then six years as Headteacher. Prior to this she spent five years on the SLT and held the role of Head of Assessment at St John's Primary in Gravesend, Kent, along with working in both St Joseph's Convent Prep School and St Joseph's Primary Northfleet.

Mrs J Ilott

Job Titles:

A Chartered Accountant who trained and qualified with Price Waterhouse Coopers, Jude spent many of her pre children days working for PWC in the UK and then in their Sydney office. After leaving PWC she has assumed various Senior Finance roles in industry. Her decision to join Kingshott stemmed from wanting to make a difference to the school and helping to put plans in place for the school's future. Jude is married to an English teacher and they have two children.

Mrs K Yates

Katie studied History at the University of Nottingham. She then undertook a Graduate Teacher Programme with Cambridge University and Saffron Walden County High. She joined Kingshott as Head of History in 2019, and later became Head of History and Religion, Philosophy and Ethics. During her four years at Kingshott Katie has taught and then led the school's eldest year groups (Years 7 and 8). She has instigated a range of developments including being the Unicef lead, and achieving both Bronze and Silver Rights Respecting School status. Katie is also the IAPS District Lead for History. She has a love for travel, having both taught in Japan for 18 months and worked for several years in the luxury travel planning sector, organising overseas expeditions prior to teaching.

Mrs R Burrows

Job Titles:
  • Head of Pupil Wellbeing and Designated Safeguarding Lead
Rhian joined Kingshott in 2017 and she holds the role of Head of Pupil Welfare and Designated Safeguarding Lead. Prior to Kingshott, Rhian worked with children of all ages from nursery to secondary, and also with high risk and vulnerable children, including those with physical and neurological disabilities. Her previous roles required provision in all areas of support, including wellbeing and pastoral. Rhian has counselling experience and has completed her level 2 counselling qualification; she is also the Mental Health lead for the school under MHFA England. She has recently embarked on a PGCert in Safeguarding Practice with Lincoln University. Rhian lives locally, is married and has four children.
