GMC Number 7041216. Dr Wilkie has recently re joined the practice following spending 12 months abroad. She is currently working 4 sessions a week.
Dr McClelland qualified at the university of Newcastle in 2002. She has previously worked in a large training practice in Wigan. Dr McClelland is married and has 2 daughters. Dr McClelland is a GP Trainer and a Director of our local GP Federation, Southport and Formby Health Ltd. Her areas of interest are end of life care and women's health.
GMC Number: 6140688 Dr Parish has been a GP since 2014 and joined Ainsdale Village Surgery in 2023. She is a GP Appraiser and became a GP trainer in 2019, she is also an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She is married with one child and lives in Southport
Dr Octavia Stevens qualified at the University of Manchester in 2002. Before joining Ainsdale Village Surgery she worked as a GP partner in a large training practice in Preston. Dr Stevens joined Dr McClelland as an equal GP partner in April 2015. She is the medicines management lead and is the Ainsdale and Birkdale locality chair person for Southport and Formby CCG. Dr Stevens is married with 3 children and she lives locally.
Jane Ayres works as a Prescribing Pharmacist at Ainsdale Village Surgery. She consults with and treats patients directly, and helps to improve value and outcomes from medicines. This also includes providing extra help to manage long-term conditions, advice for those on multiple medicines and better access to health checks.
Alicia assists the Practice Nurses in treatment room work. She can carry out blood tests, BP checks, vaccinations and long term condition reviews.
Lorraine is a Nurse Prescriber. She is a Registered Nurse who has done extra training and academic qualifications to be able to examine, assess, make diagnoses, treat, prescribe and make referrals for patients who present with minor ailments or undiagnosed/undifferentiated problems.
Practice Nurse Sam deals with a wide range of health promotion and clinical matters. She is happy to see patients regarding their Long Term Conditions and holds regular Child Health Clinics.
Practice Nurse Nasima provides a wide range of services and can be seen for chronic disease management, asthma, weight management, injections, child immunisations, cervical smears, travel health, contraception checks and general advice about health and wellbeing. She cares for all age groups.
