BEWDLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL - Key Persons
I have served as a governor since 2010 and chair of governors since 2014. Originally I stood as a parent governor when my son was in year 2. I also now have a younger child making their way up the school.
I have a background in business, education, science and technology. This broad and varied background helps me to keep the bigger picture and hopefully contribute to the wider view of the school. I also co-founded an education technology company called Ed Shed, which helps children all around the world learn.
As chair of governors I am responsible for running the governing body, I am the safeguarding governor (also responsible for monitoring Prevent, bullying and looked after children), sit on the finance and personnel committee and on the head teacher performance committee.
