My experience includes five years as an independent consultant working on conflict and security issues in fragile states in Africa and eight years in a senior position with International Alert in London where I developed and led on Alert's security and peacebuilding programme strategy . I have an MSc in Violence, Conflict and Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies and have worked in fragile country contexts including Liberia, Nepal, Uganda and South Sudan... Recent work has included: developing a tookit for conflict mitigation and stabilisation planning for government officials and state advisors in South Sudan; designing and supporting the Ugandan Office of the Prime Minister's Mid Term Review of the Peace, Recovery and Development Programme (PRDP) and, subsequently, designing the peace and conflict components of the second three year phase of the PRDP and; designing and implementing a community level conflict assessment in Northern Bahr el Ghazal, South Sudan to..
