In the mid Noughties Anna Kalnars had just completed the total refurbishment of a small detached cottage in Salcombe, and was profiled in The Telegraph's Homebuilding and Renovating magazine, December 2005: 'A New Lease of Life: Transforming a Period House'... This first taste of designing and renovating a building whetted an appetite to find out more about the industry. At the time, she was teaching part-time at South Devon College, and she discovered the college was offering a practical Foundation Degree in Interior Design through Plymouth University, so she went back to study and gain a rare Distinction...
