JOHN LAVENDER

in 1967 after training with a Stourbridge practice which dealt with a wide variety of businesses. During the five year training period he gained first place in the Institutes taxation examination... After qualifying he went into the commercial world for the next 20 years, during which time he was financial controller for a west country group and also for a group of businesses in the north west... John went into practice on his own account, firstly in 1983 on a part-time basis, and then full time in 1989 when he moved to the present office.
