KEGWORTH MUSEUM

Once the building refurbishment was complete, Kegworth Museum was opened in 1992, as a charitable organisation. The two charities were later merged to become a single organisation known as "Kegworth Village Association and Museum". Last year - 2017, was the 25th Anniversary of the museum, and since the "Village Association" part is now defunct (as there is now a different village group that organises events) we have changed our name to "Kegworth Heritage Centre". Our registered charity number is 501573... Thirdly, we also organise occasional events such as school visits, guided historical walks around the village, and until last year, an annual village Easter market event, for which the museum revived and ancient charter.
