Lalibela Trust was founded in 2012 by Dr. Hugh and Catherine Sharp. The charity operates in Northern Ethiopia on Health, Education and water projects... Create Impact is an Australian NGO which has been working in and around Lalibela since 2009. The Lalibela Trust team in Ethiopia manage Create Impact's projects, which are mainly in Education and Health, alongside their own. Their Founding Director and Project manager is Georgina Fenton, who visits Ethiopia annually when such travel is permitted... Work Closely at the Grassroots Level We always respect the views of local governments and communities. We have remained small and localised over 20 years, so our team now know the area and local leaders extremely well. This is a huge advantage in garnering respect and local support and in minimising the corruption risk.
