At Melbourne Junior School we strive to provide an excellent education for all of our children. Our most recent Ofsted inspection, which was in in January 2019, described the school as good... The school has a strong music tradition. We are pleased to be able to offer individual music tuition in school for clarinet, brass, flute, guitar, piano and violin. Year 4 take part in the Wider Opportunities programme, with all children learning to play a brass instrument. In addition, all children in Y 5 and 6 learn to play the recorder
