Anita Anthony

Anita Anthony is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and has worked in the legal profession for over 25 years. During the course of her career, Anita achieved partnership status at her previous firm and in 2012 and was shortlisted for The Lawyer Awards for Partner of the Year. Anita now works within our team of experts in the Family department as a Consultant. Anita specialises in Children Act cases, both Public and Private as well as Domestic Violence. She has forged an excellent working relationship with Uxbridge Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVA). Hillingdon and Ealing Local Authorities as well as other Agencies such as Hestia, CAFCASS, Children's Centres and DASH (Disability Association Hillingdon). She has a sensitive and caring approach to her cases and prides herself in her negotiating skills and the good rapport she has with other professionals within the legal profession. She works quickly and efficiently and in most cases can secure emergency orders within 24-48 hours based on the working week. Anita has a passion for her work and has over the years conducted a number of seminars to update other professionals on Family Law and changes to the criteria for Legal Aid.

Eglal Gheita

Eglal joined the firm in April 2021 as a Paralegal and was swiftly promoted as a Trainee Solicitor. She is currently in the Housing Department. Her experience includes homelessness, dealing with pre-action litigation matters, time sensitive reviews/appeals, unlawful evictions, landlord/tenant disputes, rights to succession, possession claims and disrepair. Eglal helps clients under legal aid and privately. Prior to joining the firm, Eglal was a Generalist Adviser at the Citizens Advice assisting clients in other areas of law such as welfare benefit rights/appeals, debt, employment, consumer, family (DV), wills/probate, LPAs and housing. Eglal was also a Paralegal in Lambeth Council's legal department dealing with SARs under Data Protection/GDPR and FOIA laws. She also worked closely with the Principal/Senior Lawyers and the Director of Social Services on a public inquiry which investigated historic child sexual abuse in Lambeth Children's homes (Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse - IICSA). Gayathri Yogarajah

Gayathri qualified in 2007 and specialises in criminal defence work. She has obtained her Duty Solicitor status and has particular experience in cases involving multiple defendants. Her criminal practice ranges from representing clients charged with low level offences in the Magistrates Court, to representing those in the Crown Court charged with serious offences, such as Murder, Rape, Kidnap and Money Laundering. Gayathri is known for her intellect, quick thinking and attention to detail. Her passion for getting the right result for her clients is evident and she is known to have an excellent manner with her clients. Her dedication to her clients means that much of her work comes from recommendations from existing or previous clients. She is a skilled advocate and represents her clients at the Police station, Magistrates Court and through to the Crown Court (where experienced Counsel are instructed). Malik Asim Saeed - CEO

Maria Cox

Maria is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX) and joined our team of experts as a consultant in the Family Law department. Her areas of expertise include all aspects of domestic violence matters as well as extensive experience dealing with Children Act proceedings involving residence and contact (now known as Child Arrangements Orders). Maria has experience in obtaining or defending Specific Issue Orders and Prohibited Steps Orders. Maria also has experience in public child protection matters representing parents in Public Law cases with a focus on care cases. Maria has worked on a wide range of childcare matters from Local Authority initial investigations through to care proceedings. Further, she has also dealt with cases involving applications to remove children from the jurisdiction for the purposes of a holiday, as well as permanent removal where international relocation is being considered. Maria's experience also includes dealing with complex child abduction matters. Maria has been a Fellow of CILEX since 2000 and has a wealth of experience dealing with all aspects of domestic violence. Maria has been awarded by the Domestic Violence Unit for being dedicated and going the extra mile for clients. Having previously worked for IBB solicitors based in Uxbridge for many years, Maria has an excellent working relationship with many agencies in the local area. Mr NAJEEB NASIRI

Najeeb joined MTG Solicitors in May 2022 to work directly with the head of the crime department, Mr Grover and then started his period of recognised training as a trainee solicitor in December 2022 in the crime department. Najeeb has appreciated a variety of work; from handling Magistrates cases such as compiling briefs, to undertaking Crown Court preparation in the many different stages in the run up to trial and sentence. Najeeb is experienced in the preparation of Magistrates trial cases and taking instructions from clients at prisons. Najeeb is in the midst of completing his Police Station Accreditation. Acting as a probationary representative he will give you independent and confidential advice which is suited to you. Muneeb Gill

Muneeb joined MTG Solicitors as a Paralegal in the Housing department in 2007. Having qualified as a Solicitor in 2011, he advanced to become the head of the largest department in the firm. Thereafter, Muneeb became Partner at the firm in 2016. He has specialised in Housing Law and has represented tenants, lessees and various London local authorities. He has a particular interest in possession, homelessness, disrepair, unlawful eviction, injunctions and anti-social behaviour cases. He has a passion to help the most vulnerable in society and has considerable experience in all landlord and tenant matters. Osman Gill

Osman specialises in Housing Law and has many years of experience in the area. He undertakes a wide range of Housing cases including rent and other possession cases, succession, disrepair, unlawful eviction, homelessness internal s202 reviews and s204 county court appeals. He has also successfully applied for Judicial Reviews against the London Boroughs of Hillingdon and Ealing amongst other boroughs, including out of hours applications to the High Court. He has an in-depth knowledge of the developments in Housing Law and has acted for a vulnerable client challenging the Council's decision to seek possession on a ‘flexible' tenancy. Osman has also acted for private client's and has proficiency in representing both the vulnerable young and elderly people, as well as families requiring support and accommodation from social services. Rupinder joined the firm in September 2010, practicing in the areas of Immigration, Human Rights, Public and Family Law. She became head of the Immigration and Public Law (for immigration matters) departments in November 2013. Rupinder continues to practice Family Law due to the significant overlap with Immigration work. Rupinder provides invaluable and strategic advice on a broad range of Immigration matters. She has expertise in a range of applications including applications made under Tiers 1 - 5 of the Points Based System, settlement applications, spouse visas, visit visas, Human Right applications, statutory appeals and judicial reviews of increasing complexity.
