ST. GILES - Key Persons
After completing my A-levels, I loved the thought of working with children, and have looked forward to a career in Primary Education. I was very pleased when I was offered the job here at St. Giles' as a Teaching Assistant; I love everything about my role!
When I am not working, I am busy studying to become a Primary Teacher myself. I also love baking and reading and have a passion for Christmas time!
I began my early years teaching career 18 years ago and have worked in schools and nurseries since. After completing a (BA Hons) degree in Early Years Teaching back in 2013, I recently returned to University and gained qualified teacher status, specialising in Early Years teaching (children aged 3-7 years).
Undoubtedly, my placement at St Giles' was the most enjoyable element of the course, and I felt lucky to have had the opportunity to work in a such a supportive and nurturing environment. I am so excited to continue my career as a classroom teacher at the school!
I have always wanted a career working with children so one day I decided to go ahead with my dream.
