Dr Paul Davies brings a wide variety of international experience and work across a wide number of domains to Hunter Reid. Having worked in industry as a Managing Director in the UK, in India and in Singapore, he has direct knowledge of hiring and particular expertise in management consultancy, sales, marketing, outsourcing and offshoring, engineering, and business development and has considerable sectoral experience in information technology, financial services, power and energy, manufacturing and business services.
He is widely published, having written a selection of business books, and is keenly aware of the relationship between changing markets, new technologies, and demographics.
Gavin is a founding member of Hunter Reid and has a significant track record in executing senior search assignments internationally. This success has been recognised by our peer group as he is regularly retained to recruit senior and specialist individuals for other global executive search businesses. Gavin also manages the company operations.
Gavin's previous career was in the Pharmaceutical industry with management responsibility through Asia, Europe and North America. He holds a BSc Honors in Chemistry.
Johnny has established a reputation for delivering exceptional candidates for senior and specialist roles for a number of major clients across the Energy, Metals & Mining and Financial Services industries. These include acknowledged international leaders in the consulting and research sector, commercial operations sector and investment banking sector.
Johnny has over 25 years of experience working in the Financial Services sector. He has held a number of senior operational and executive positions covering private banking, fund management, sales and marketing and alternative investments. He has worked across the spectrum from large international companies to new business start ups.
Simon Davies made the transition to the recruitment sector in early 2016 after 25 years of experience in senior management positions within the financial services industry. His experiences as CEO Europe for Bibby Financial Services, as CCO Europe for DLL (Rabobank) and as President of Volvo Financial Services in Latin America also left him with an international profile that plays strongly to Hunter Reid's position as an international recruitment partner to multinational companies. With an MBA from the University of Birmingham and multi-cultural board level experience Simon brings an added dimension to our offering at Hunter Reid.
