I moved to Scotland 6 years ago from Italy with the desire to have new experiences, learn English and meet new people. I have met so many great people and went onto some fantastic adventures.
I arrived in Scotland after living in Italy, Portugal, and Galicia, where I come from. I like to learn about other cultures while being part of the community. I was lucky to be able to do so on several occasions while attending language courses in different parts of the world.
I love planning my own adventures, so it only made sense to make a career out of it! After studying a degree in the outdoor adventure industry, I quickly joined Macs and have been here since! When not planning other people's adventures I love to brave the beautiful Scottish beaches and hills.
From Brazil to the world since 2011, I've lived in Ireland and settled in Scotland. I live for travelling and experiencing new adventures. As an Operations Specialist I can help people experience what the world has best to offer, and I love it.
The best known pilgrimage is the Camino de Santiago. The Camino is not just one path. It is a network of routes across the world which lead to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. The most popular of these is the French Way or "Camino Frances".

I fell in love with wild places by backpacking in the magical canyons of the Sipsey Wilderness Area in Alabama as a teenager. I extensively backpacked around the US national parks and lived in Alaska for a summer. I have over 15 years of experience planning nature and hiking adventures around the world.

I'm Craig and I have been at Macs Adventure since April 2016. After graduating from university I undertook a ski season in 2012/13. This was meant to be a short-lived 5-month escapade….ever since I have jumped around ski resort to ski resort enjoying what my family have called a ‘gap life'.
Having traveled the globe from Antarctica to the North Pole and so many evocative points in between, I have adventure travel intricately woven in my DNA. As a passionate enthusiast of nature, wildlife, and culture, I help travelers to enjoy some of the most momentous & meaningful experiences in their lives.

I have always loved travelling from a young age. I spent 3 years at university studying International Tourism and had the opportunity to take part in Camp America for 2 years, which allowed me to explore America.
With Snowdonia on my doorstep, qualifications in various outdoor activities and travelling across Europe with a racing team, I've always loved the outdoors and being creative. It even inspired my creative career of 20+ years, including over nine years in travel!

My real passion for travel started quite late (I took my first flight at 19!) but I've definitely made up for it since then. What I love about travel is how it can challenge you, oh, and also the food!

Hi, it's Lauren from the US office! I live in Colorado with my husband and our dog. I've been in the travel industry for over 8 years and with Macs since late 2018. My role allows me to do what I truly enjoy; making a difference in people's lives through the world of travel.
Having come from a travel industry background I have been involved in many aspects, cabin crew, hotel receptionist, travel agent, but to name a few, I have always been drawn to the wonderful world of travel.
Dedicated to the transformative power of travel, I have over 17 years of professional adventure travel experience. My favorite destinations include Peru, Portugal, Italy, Antarctica and Norway. At home, I enjoy creating music, watching soccer, playing cribbage, reading, and enjoying the mountains near home.

Raised in Denver, CO, I've always had a passion for the outdoors. I spent my childhood summers camping, fishing, hiking, and exploring. I moved to Florida in 2014 to study hospitality and have been working in the travel industry since 2015!

I grew up in DFW, Texas and lived in Nuremberg, Germany. I love history and love connecting with people so travel is naturally something I love to do! It makes my day to hear someone loved a region or country like I do!
The most important thing about travel for me, is getting out there. Going somewhere that is a little out of your comfort zone, and immersing yourself in the culture, seeing the true value of the country. I've been lucky in the 20+ years I've worked in travel to go to some amazing places and don't plan on stopping!
My passion for travel and adventure came from the wonderful trips and holidays my parents took me on as a child. We visited various different places in Europe, America as well as regular trips around Scotland, to North Uist and Inverness to visit family.

Travelling has always been a huge passion of mine ever since I was a child. My parents used to take my siblings and I on holidays all over Europe from quite a young age, which is something that I am truly grateful for as it ignited the love for exploring new places and meeting new people that I have today.
Like everyone at Macs, I love to travel & explore at every opportunity, my favourite countries so far being New Zealand & Laos. This was slightly scuppered by the arrival of my 2 kids, but we now revolve around family adventures.
