DEVINE QUALITY FOODS - Key Persons

John Devine started Devine Quality Foods in 1972 after working as a meat wholesaler for the Dalziel Co-operative in Motherwell, Lanarkshire. The co-op were in transition and decided to stop van sales so offered John a store manager job. Instead, John decided, with his wife Margaret, to make the move to start their own business as he had a great rapport with his customers - many of whom we still supply today - and a good knowledge of the food business.
