Alan Dargan - Founder

Alan was a Managing Director in Investment Banking at both Credit Suisse First Boston and Swiss Bank Corporation (now UBS). He ran a number of Investment Banking sectors and advised industrial groups and governments on major restructurings in Europe and around the world. In 1997 he founded Lansdowne Capital as a corporate finance advisory firm. Collectively Alan has over 30 years experience working on Wall Street and the City of London. Alan originally trained as an economist and is a chartered accountant.

Ben Evans

Ben worked at Catalyst Corporate Finance as an Executive in their deal execution team before joining Lonsdale in 2010, where he is currently a Partner. Ben initially trained and qualified as a chartered accountant in PWC, where he specialised in Tax before moving to its Corporate Finance department.

David Gasparro - Founder

David was previously Global Head of Distribution for Threadneedle Asset Management where he was in charge of the wholesale, institutional and hedge fund businesses. During this time he was also a member of the Management Committee. Prior to Threadneedle, David was Chief Investment Officer for Schroder's mutual fund business as well as Head of Investment Strategy. David began his career as a Bank of England economist in 1988.

Keith Hoad - CFO

Keith joined as Finance Director in 2022, having previously worked at Azini Capital Partners, Seligman Private Equity and Baird Capital Partners. Keith is a qualified accountant and has spent his career in financial services, specialising in private equity for 15+ years.

Ross Finegan - Founder

Ross started his career in 1994 at Deloitte Corporate Finance where he advised management teams on MBO's. In 1996 he moved to JP Morgan Partners, the private equity arm of JP Morgan. From 2006 Ross began investing on his own account, started working with Alan in 2008 and subsequently with David from 2009. He trained as a chartered accountant in PWC.

Stefan Smith

Stefan joined Lonsdale in 2021, prior to this he was an Associate at DC Advisory focusing on the execution of M&A transactions across a range of sectors and began his career at EY. He has a BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham and has passed level 1 of the CFA Charter.

Stephen Beale

Prior to joining Lonsdale in 2022, Stephen was a Vice President at Lincoln International focusing on the execution of M&A transactions in the Healthcare sector. He began his career with IBI Corporate Finance in Dublin. Stephen has a BEng in Chemical Engineering from University College Dublin and is a CFA Charterholder.
