Barrie Sheppard

Barrie's corporate career was with Unilever, spanning some 30 years both in the UK and Internationally. During this time, he held a number of Senior/Director positions. Barrie is an experienced C.I.P.D. qualified advanced coach with a particular interest in leadership and team development and the positive impact these can have on organisational performance. He has over 10 years' experience in working with both private and public sector organisations, up to and including Board level coaching CEOs, Directors and Senior Leaders of organisations as well as Executive and leadership teams. He feels it is crucial for leaders to develop, deploy and display: Having a Clarity of thought Being Future focussed Being Relentless in pursuit of goals Being able to Engage, Motivate, Inspire and Win the hearts and minds of those they lead Able to Hold Others to Account constantly "pushing the peanut forward"

Dr Peter Grey - Founder

Peter has always been the ‘guiding light' for edc, providing expert insight and direction, as well as inspirational guidance to both clients, partners and employees. Peter founded edc some 30 years ago bringing extensive experience in corporate life having held Board level positions with major corporations in the UK, USA and mainland Europe. In a ‘ground-breaking way' Peter was one of the first to identify the need for Senior Executive support, funded by organisations in support of strategic direction and increased operational effectiveness. He was tireless in his commitment to coaching and organisation development and was extremely successful in creating an offer and process that was highly valued by edc clients. During Peter's career, he delivered 20,000 hours of coaching at Board level and near Board level Executives, top teams and 'next generation leaders' in the private and public sectors including spending 9 years on the NHS Board Level coaching panel.

Melissa Ripley

Melissa joined the EDC team as Business Development Manager in June 2016. Having a career in administrative and Office Management roles, she brings excellent organisational skills to the company to support not only our clients but also the Partnering team as a whole. Melissa supports the work of edc consultants with clients in the creation, development and refining of their CVs, providing templates, specimens and general administrative assistance. Additionally she coordinates and manages the processing and expediting of Profiling Tools such as Myers Briggs and Leadership Effectiveness Analyses provided by edc consultants, as well as managing the administrations for team days and workshops. She is also our main point of contact for enquiries and support.

Roger Rawlinson

Roger specialises in coaching executives and senior managers, developing senior teams, leading organisational change, and consulting on all aspects of HR practice. His roles as HR Director and Chief Executive across a variety of sectors over the past fifteen years have invariably involved major organisational change and he has a particular interest in coaching executives to plan and implement organisational change in order to ensure its success. Roger's experience includes fifteen years as an HR Director in the public and private sectors and two periods as a Chief Executive. He has held board positions in retail, manufacturing and healthcare and has also had executive responsibility for learning, development, and internal communications. He trained as an executive coach at Henley Management College in 2007 and has been coaching executives across a range of sectors since then.

Tony Bruce

Tony's focus is on enhancing organisational success and capability through individual coaching and mentorship; and Board; team and relationship development. His strength is in his combination of coaching training and experience and his accomplished career as a CEO and Director of Finance. Tony is an experience and Ashridge trained coach offering bespoke coaching, mentorship, and organisational consulting solutions to meet clients' needs. He also brings over 20 years' experience as a successful CEO across all sectors of the NHS, including commissioning; acute, community and mental health trusts and the strategic tier. He has worked closely with social care and other partners. He has delivered both challenging performance and delivery targets and innovative informational change through effective organisational design and development. He has been recognised by both the OPM and Aston University for his organisational development work, including effective team development across organisational boundaries. Tony is passionate about supporting systems, organisation and individuals to maximise their capability for success, and with his combined coaching skills and leadership experience, is well placed to do this.
