Amy has worked for Aspire since 2016 and supports Gary. She has worked in financial services for 15 years, previously working as an advisor in the banks. She is the first person in the company to achieve Chartered status as a Financial Planner in the company.
In her spare time Amy loves travelling and both watching sports, especially Spurs and playing handball.
Fiona has over 36 years' experience as a personal assistant and administrator in the insurance and banking sector. Having achieved Matric (A-Level), she has worked for leading corporate insurance companies, an international investment bank (diversified financial group) and independent financial services. She has both South African and European industry knowledge and has worked with both individual clients and corporate clients.
Fiona is married and has two daughters. She loves wildlife and enjoys family outings and travel.
Gary Plein is one of the founders and Principals of the Aspire partnership.
Gary emigrated to London from South Africa in 1986 which is the same year he married Monique. He joined a large insurance company where he learned the about the life assurance industry and principles of Financial Planning before setting up as an Independent Financial Adviser in 1998.

Jeff was born and educated in Cape Town, South Africa before emigrating to the UK in 1977.He has been working in the Financial Services Industry since 1981, having been associated with a major Life Assurance Company for 17 years before helping to found Aspire in 1998 and becoming a Partner.
In terms of advice offered to clients, he would liken himself to a General Practitioner, in that he gives advice "across the board" in all aspects of Financial Services. He enjoys assisting clients on their ‘financial journey' and now gives advice to three generations amongst his clients.
Jeff is married to Mara-Lee. They have three children, a daughter-in-law and three grandchildren. His interests include being a keen follower of rugby, cricket and football as well as being an active golfer. In his spare time, he also participates in Charitable work.
Laura Behar joined the Aspire team on 4th Sept working as Admin Support for Gary and Jeff.
Her long career has taken her down different paths but predominantly in Retail Head Office having worked in the fashion industry in Buying and Merchandising for many years and then for a large Jewellery chain as Business Analyst and e commerce merchandiser. Her most recent position has been in the Private Medical sector where she was office manager for a subsidiary of the AXA group.
Nicola Cameron has been Managing Director of Custom Wills Ltd since 2010, specialising in Will Writing, Lasting Power of Attorneys, Funeral Plans and Probate Support.
Veronica Jhanji has been working in the Financial Services Industry since 2008. She enjoys working with clients and creating robust personal financial plans. She provides advice on a wide range of financial planning areas, enabling clients to achieve their own specific financial needs and ambitions, including:
