Our Senior Director, Robert Toogood, is an independent subject matter expert (and consultant) in risk and resilience with specialist expertise in digital risk, change, project governance and turnaround. He is also excited about now being able to use his expertise to help clients with their ESG, sustainability and net zero climate challenges, particularly from a risk and resilience, change management, project governance, and/or sustainable IT perspective. Robert's real-world practitioner, consulting, and interim experience spans over thirty years, based on a successful earlier systems and project management background working on business transformation with organisations across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA); his broad risk and resilience experience starts in 2002 with Johnson & Johnson and business continuity planning activities within their UK operation (and later, included involvement with their pandemic planning activities), and has continued on a regular basis since then with many other clients. This depth of experience means that in conjunction with his passionate desire to get things done, he can seamlessly move between consultant and practitioner roles within an assignment, when needed and appropriate. Robert believes very strongly in the importance of working in partnership and not in isolation from his clients; listening to their needs and not imposing pre-conceived solutions, taking time to properly understand the context in which they operate and only then, using his experience to provide innovative solutions and support.
