Adam Hastings

Mr. Hastings is Chief Data Officer and oversees the Data & Analytics Group in the Global Digital Strategy Office. He focuses on identifying, sourcing, analyzing and ultimately leveraging data to help the organization make more informed and better investment and business decisions. He previously led the former Corporate Analytics group after joining Hines in 2012 to serve in the Proprietary Research group. Hastings earned his BS in Finance and Management Information Systems, and his MS in Finance at Tulane University. He is also a CFA charterholder and holds a certificate in investment performance measurement.

Adil Noorani

Adil ensures Hines provides tenants and investor partners with cutting edge, best-in-class services and products across the globe. He oversees various Management Services platforms designed to enhance tenant experience and generate higher returns for investors. These platforms include property and facility management, engineering, residential operations including Willowick Residential, Hines' multifamily property management arm, and the Client Relationship and Experience Management platform. Adil also chairs the firm's Operations and Management Committee. In his previous role as Chief Operating Officer of the firm's Southwest Region, Adil managed all regional operating functions and assisted the development teams with their strategic and organizational needs. The role included oversight of the region's property management, accounting, asset management, acquisitions, and regional marketing. Additionally, he helped the regional CEO operationalize strategic goals, maintain appropriate staffing, assess risk, and assist in other areas as appropriate. Adil holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston.

Alex Knapp

Alex Knapp serves as Chief Investment Officer for Hines' European business and leads its Investment Management platform in the region. He serves on Hines' Executive Committee and is a member of the Investment Committee, and in these functions he has a leading role in setting investment strategy. Alex joined Hines in 2008 and has led a wide range of commercial and residential investments across the risk spectrum during his tenure. Prior to joining Hines, he spent five years at the Renzo Piano Building Workshop, working in Paris and Genova. Alex holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Rice University and a Masters in Real Estate Development from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Alfonso Munk

Alfonso is responsible for developing investment strategy for North and South America that aligns with the firm's global views and meets the demands of the world's most savvy investors. He is a member of the firm's Executive Committee and Investment Committee. In this role, Alfonso works cross-functionally with geographic CIOs in Hines' European and Asia Pacific regions. He is committed to enhancing and growing the Americas investment business, attracting and cultivating talent, and positioning Hines as the world's preeminent vertically integrated fund manager. Alfonso provides a significant track record of achievement for investors with more than 20 years of diverse experience in real estate investing activities throughout the U.S., Europe, and Latin America. Alfonso joined Hines in 2019. A strong proponent of education, his philanthropic contributions focus on building leaders for the future. He is passionate about promoting education for children and college students and ensuring companies are led by diverse individuals. He is a member of the Advisory Board at the Center for Real Estate Finance at Cornell University's SC Johnson College of Business, and the University of Miami business school real estate program. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Zell-Lurie Real Estate Center at the Wharton School. He serves in multiple capacities with Urban Land Institute (ULI), including as a Global Exchange Council member, a ULI Governing Trustee, and a member of the ULI Southeast Florida / Caribbean Advisory Board. Alfonso holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Hospitality Administration from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in finance and real estate. He divides his time between the firm's Houston headquarters and Miami and is fluent in Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, and English.

Andy Trowbridge - EVP

Mr. Trowbridge is Executive Vice President, Conceptual Construction. He is responsible for all preconstruction activities including budgeting, design, contractor and consultant contract negotiations, and materials purchase for Hines' domestic and international projects. Since joining Hines in 1992, Trowbridge has been responsible for consultant selection and contract negotiations, budgeting, scheduling, management of consultants' designs, and contractor and subcontractor bidding and negotiations for office buildings, retail complexes and hotels. Trowbridge graduated from The University of California at Davis with a BA in Economics.

C. Hastings (Hasty) Johnson

Mr. Johnson serves as Vice Chairman. He is a member of the firm's Executive and Investment Committees and is responsible for all investments. He initiated the Hines acquisition program and the firm's investment management business. Johnson graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a BS in Industrial Engineering and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Cameron Falconer - COO

Mr. Falconer is COO/Deputy Head of Capital Markets and is responsible for coordinating capital raises for flagship discretionary funds and strategic separate accounts, as well as orchestrating and supporting coverage of important real estate investors globally. Falconer joined Hines in 1997 and has contributed to the development, acquisition, financing, marketing and disposition of more than 15 million square feet of commercial real estate. Before joining Hines, Mr. Falconer acquired diverse experience in design, feasibility analysis, project management and development with a major Canadian pipeline company. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science, Mechanical Engineering from University of British Columbia and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University.

Christopher D. Hughes - CEO

His past experience includes serving as a development officer in Hines' Washington, D.C. office and CEO of the firm's East Region. Clayton Ulrich

Clayton is the firm's Senior Vice President, Corporate Operations and Engineering Services and also serves as Global Sustainability Officer. He is Hines' senior engineering officer focused on providing visionary leadership and strategic direction for Hines' 1,500 property management and engineering employees in optimizing performance and minimizing risk for the assets Hines manages. Clayton is responsible for the firm's industry-leading standards in operations and maintenance, environmental policy, equipment efficiency, energy management and engineering employee development. His experience with building operations, technologies, equipment, components and systems is instrumental in executing his engineering leadership and site support responsibilities. He obtained his LEED® AP designation in 2002 and has assessed the performance of thousands of assets in his more than 40-year career dedicated to maximizing the operations and maintenance of commercial real estate.

David L. Steinbach

David is responsible for directing the company's global investment strategy. He shapes the strategic direction and long-term vision of the organization and allocation of capital. He is also co-head of the investment management business where he serves as a fiduciary for the company's limited partner investors.  He is a member of the firm's executive committee and investment committee. Since joining Hines in 1999, he has been involved in billions of dollars of acquisitions and asset management globally, successfully navigated through several real estate cycles, and championed numerous innovation and sustainability initiatives within the firm. Over his tenure, Hines has raised over $75B in capital and grown from $10B to over $90B AUM. David volunteers for Houston Welcomes Refugees and is the chairman of the Board of Veritas Academy of Houston. He divides his time between the company's Houston headquarters and London office and received a bachelor's and master's degree from Texas A&M University.

Doug Donovan - Chief Risk Officer

Mr. Donovan serves as Chief Risk Officer, responsible for counseling the Investment Committee on investment risk. Since joining Hines in 1996, Mr. Donovan has held several investment management positions, most recently serving as fund manager for Hines Multifamily Investment Partners, a discretionary multifamily development vehicle. Since 2010, he has also been a member of the risk team involved with all Hines investments globally and he had a leadership role in the firm's expansion into multifamily development in the U.S. Mr. Donovan is a member of the firm's global Investment Committee as well as the Audit and Compliance Committee. He graduated from the University of Texas with a BA in Accounting and a Masters in Professional Accounting.

Doug Holte

Doug is responsible for the strategy and implementation of EXP by Hines, a new business unit launched in 2022. In this role, Doug will collaborate with a wide universe of venture founders, venture capitalists, innovators in ESG and property-related technology, public/NGO-sector policymakers, real estate industry leaders, and all Hines regional property portfolio leaders, Hines investment managers and internal Hines subject-matter experts. EXP by Hines is dedicated to exercising leadership and intelligent risk-taking to advance scalable solutions to complex problems and market-deficiencies for environmental- and social-sustainability. Doug brings over 30 years of innovative and results-oriented leadership experience to this new role, having previously served as president at Irvine Company and senior regional partner at Hines (1987-2009). He has a deep passion for delivering locally-sponsored solutions for sustainably-healthy communities, having served as an investor and/or advisor to Covenant House, Orange County Community Foundation, Westside LA Urban Forum, UC Irvine Beall Center for Applied Innovation, OC CEO Leadership Alliance, USC Lusk Center, and Innovation Collective. He was the founder of Agile Workweek Investments which invested and advised for real estate projects and property-tech ventures seeking to deliver contemporary solutions to secular shifts in workweek/workforce priorities.
