Alex Reid

Job Titles:
  • UK Team Leader
Alex joined JCS in July 2019 as an Account Executive for public libraries after graduating from Oxford Brookes University with a degree in Business and Management. During Alex's time at university, he used a range of online resources which were pivotal to attaining his degree. In his spare time, Alex enjoys playing golf and watching football!

Amy Williams

Job Titles:
  • Customer Retention Manager
Amy began her career working in specialist libraries in London and went on to gain an MSc in Information Management from Sheffield University. Whilst studying for her dissertation focussing on ‘Electronic Journals' she met and subsequently began working for an academic publisher. She then went on to work with a number of publishers and intermediaries, specialising in the promotion and development of online journal resources. She joined JCS in 2015 and has shared & developed her expertise in a number of sales and marketing roles within the team working with schools, Further Education colleges and public libraries. Outside of work, Amy is kept busy with her three sons. When she does have time, she enjoys reading or listening to a good crime novel, and occasionally can be found tinkering at the piano or singing in a choir.

Dan Croad

Job Titles:
  • Finance Manager
Dan joined JCS in 2020, where he began his career in finance and has continued to progress through the company, now holding the title of Finance Manager. Over the past two years, he has studied accountancy, achieving distinction grades at both AAT Levels 2 and 3. His hobbies revolve around the world of sport, being a keen golfer, footballer and road-runner with a keen interest in horse racing too. If he isn't watching football or horse racing on TV, you will find him relaxing watching a Marvel movie or listening to his guilty pleasure, country music.

Ellie Lathbridge

Job Titles:
  • Marketing Executive
Ellie joined JCS after graduating from her Master's degree in Classics from University College, Oxford in 2022. Having fundraised her way through her postgraduate degree online and working to provide digital application outreach for minority ethic groups, Ellie is passionate about how digital resources can be used as life-changing tools for educational accessibility. Outside the office, Ellie can usually be spotted seeing a musical at the theatre or creating a batch of baked goodies to give to her friends and family (and of course the JCS team). Ellie is also an avid quizzer and board games enthusiast - she's even won Pointless!

Gerda Taylor - CFO

Job Titles:
  • Director of Finance and Operations
Gerda joined the JCS Team in January 2017. After immigrating from South Africa in the summer of 2015 she started work at a mobile phone and smart device accessory distributor in London. Prior to the relocation she spent three years in the capital city of Mozambique, Maputo and opened her own wedding cake business in the city. She has not lost her love for baking and still spends hours trying new recipes. She also loves exploring Britain so you will not find her at home very often. Her favourite place so far is Puffin Island!

Hugh Webster

Job Titles:
  • Sales Manager
After graduating with a degree in Business Economics in 2015 Hugh joined the JCS Team in October 2015 as an Account Executive before being promoted to Senior Account Executive, followed by Senior Account Manager (Schools) and finally being appointed Sales Manager. He used online resources extensively at university and appreciates the positive impact they have on the learning process. Hugh is rugby fanatic. If there is a rugby game on, you can be sure Hugh will be watching!

Jack Hyde

Job Titles:
  • Account Executive ( Europe & the Americas )
Jack is a graduate of the University of Brighton, where he completed a 3-year degree in Sport Coaching. Jack is a huge fan of all sports, with a particular interest in cricket which he plays every Saturday in the summer for a local team. Upon joining JCS in October he brought with him significant customer service and account management experience, and lots of brilliant ideas about how we can better support our customers!

Joyce Martin - Managing Director

Having acted as Project Director for the Government-funded initiative, JISC Collections for Schools, Joyce established JCS Online Resources in 2010 as her own business when the funding came to an end.

Morgan Russell

Job Titles:
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Administrator
Morgan started at JCS in April 2023 after working as a bookkeeper for 3 years in a small firm based in Kidlington, Oxon. Working for several small-to-medium sized company clients helped him gain experience in bank reconciliation, VAT returns and End of Year preparations. Certified in accounting software's such as Xero and QuickBooks he is excited for the new experiences he'll find working at JCS. He grew up playing rugby for Gosford All Blacks before becoming county champions playing for Oxford RFC; during the warmer seasons he enjoys kayaking along rivers and canals with his family. In his free time he enjoys sci-fi films and playing video games with friends.

Rupert Brice

Job Titles:
  • Senior Account Executive ( ME & ANZ )
Rupert joined JCS Online Resources in September 2017 after moving to Oxford from Brighton where he managed a busy independent retail store. Rupert has a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Ethics from Brighton University and graduated in the summer of 2016. Online resources were a key part of his dissertation project - Understanding why Indian colonial subjects served in the British Army during WW1 - giving him an understanding of how invaluable these resources are. He has a keen interest in history and politics, especially modern world and revolutionary history. He enjoys cooking, collecting vinyl records, and visiting museums as well as being an avid Formula 1 fan.
