David A. Cifrino focuses his practice on corporate and transactional matters, primarily representing public and private financial services, industrial, technology, consumer products and other businesses ranging in size from start-ups to Fortune 50 multinationals, in securities, merger, acquisition, disposition, commercial, strategic, governance and executive compensation matters. He also represents clients in public and privately placed equity and debt financings under the Securities Act of 1933 and counsels public companies on the full range of securities compliance issues under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. In 2021 and 2022, David was a Fellow and Senior Fellow in Harvard University's Advanced Leadership Initiative, where he primarily focused on corporate sustainability and environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues.

Ira Coleman is the chairman of McDermott Will & Emery. When Ira took on this role in 2017, the Firm embraced a new strategic direction focused on being indispensable to clients, enhancing performance and nurturing a happy, fun culture-encapsulated in the mantra of #AlwaysBetter. Ira also serves as the general counsel for the Healthcare Private Equity Association (HCPEA). He presents regularly at private equity, national healthcare and leadership-focused conferences on a variety of subjects. He has authored and been quoted in numerous articles on private equity, health law, diversity, equity and inclusion, and leadership. In 2021, he received the "Most Innovative Law Firm Leader" award by the Financial Times.

Joan-Elisse Carpentier provides legal representation in all areas of immigration and nationality law affecting individuals, corporations and other businesses. She has worked on evaluations of immigration practices of corporations, development of corporate policies and procedures for handling immigration matters and obtaining immigrant and non-immigrant visas, as well as citizenship and expatriation. Joan-Elisse assists businesses with I-9 compliance programs and provides representation during government audits and in settlement negotiations. She also provides advice concerning immigration issues during mergers and acquisitions.
