Bart Gloger joined BLDA in 2014, becoming Associate Director in 2019. Educated at the Silesian University of Technology in Poland, he earned his Masters degree in Science and Engineering in 2003.
Bart has spent 15 years in the UK, bringing his knowledge and experience to a diversity of projects across historic, new build and residential projects. His work includes projects abroad and in the UK where he's also carried out some major urban planning work.
One of his developments includes the high profile classical new build projects for Oxford and Cambridge Colleges, the latter opened by The Prince of Wales. Bart was involved in the extensive redesign of one of New York's most exclusive hotels, The Stanhope on 5 th Avenue. More recently he's been working on high-end residential projects in listed buildings, but his experience also covers modern homes.
In 2021 Bart completed his PhD in the specialisation of theory and history of architecture and urban planning, conservation and regeneration, focussing on Elizabethan and Jacobean Country Houses in England. His experience represents BLDA's unique blend of wide-ranging adaptability and niche expertise. He enjoys working with clients and prides himself on listening to their needs. With the right investment, processes, and materials, he guides them on the possibilities of transforming their homes into modern residences that maintain their historic values.

John studied at The London Metropolitan University before becoming a qualified Architect in 1990. He has worked at various practices including Architects Co-Partnership and Birkerdike Allen before joining BLDA in 2000.
John prides himself on the ability to deliver high quality bespoke solutions, retaining the essence of the original design concept and balancing the special requirements of interventions into the historic and listed building fabric.

John is Senior Director at BLDA. With a career spanning over forty years in the high-end residential market, he has worked on projects in the UK, Europe, America and Canada on commissions up to £50,000,000. A graduate of the University of Bath, he is also now a visiting lecturer at the School of Architecture. Employing a vast wealth of experience, John brings his expertise to clients who include major London estates, development companies, family wealth offices, insurance companies, private individuals and London boroughs. His meticulous work has seen him achieve planning and listed building consents for new buildings and refurbishments in both city centres and at major rural estates. These projects include the award-winning listed apartment building Oceanic House in Pall Mall, and UK Property Award winner 24 St James's Square London SW1, as well as the development of low carbon emission housing across the UK, marrying technology specifications with low-energy requirements. John finds working on Listed Buildings highly rewarding and enjoys envisioning a building's new potential with an ambitious and imaginative approach. Attentive to the finest details, and with decades of expertise, John takes pride in understanding his clients and their requirements to deliver architecture that exceeds their greatest expectations. From John's early career in Canada designing buildings for the Cree Eskimo population in northern Ontario, via an international competition win in San Diego to delivering the highest quality architecture in Central London he thrives on new learning and the continual development of BLDA. John brings his experience as an expert witness to architectural and construction matters.
