Anne Sibbald has enjoyed a career in Organisational and Leadership Development. She has worked principally in the University sector including Heriot Watt, and Glasgow Caledonian universities and the Leadership Foundation for HE based in London. She particularly enjoyed executive coaching which supported staff to meet their aspirations and address day to day challenges. She anticipates that this experience may help staff in the School to build upon their immense achievements.
Anne has participated in painting classes at the School and continues to ‘dabble' in drawing and painting. She respects the School's approach to widening participation and managing diversity.
Current charity work includes working with, Listenwell and she has facilitated discussions on the proposed Newhaven community and heritage hub.

Martin Burnell was born in London but has lived in Scotland since 1982. He studied archaeology and anthropology at Cambridge, but spent most of his career as a personnel manager, most recently as Head of Human Resources for Fife Council. Following retirement, he has undertaken a variety of paid and voluntary consultancy, including acting as a personnel advisor to Action for Churches Together in Scotland. He was raised in a Quaker family and is currently Clerk of the national Quaker Scottish body. His interests include travel, hill walking, the theatre and the arts.

- Susie Reade Director View Profile
Susie has been a Director since 2006 but her connection with the School dates from its inception. Susie was Lottie Cheverton's cousin and was present in 1988 when the North Junction Street building was found and then classes commenced. Susie completed the Foundation Course at the School in 2000 and later gained a BA at Edinburgh College of Art in 2013, so she also brings relevant first-hand learning experiences to the Board. Susie considers that the most outstanding of the aims of the School is the importance of holistic care for each student. She currently divides her working time between occupational therapy in the NHS and her own art practice.
