The Dillon family's long association with the livestock industry dates back more than 100 years to the start of the 20th century. Then in 1979, we decided to expand into beef manufacturing and WD Meats was founded by our managing director, Francis Dillon. Eight years later, in 1987, we moved to our present custom-built premises at Coleraine, on Ireland's North Coast. Located near to the world-famous Giant's Causeway, this area has a strong farming heritage, with lush green fields as far as the eye can see. We continue to produce beef here, on our family farm... Since opening our current facility in 1987, WD Meats has enjoyed sustained growth. We believe this is due to our rigorous adherence to a philosophy of continual development and improvement, both in our infrastructure and in our professional skills... For over 35 years, WD Meats has been supplying quality assured beef and innovative beef products to retail customers throughout UK, Europe, Africa and Asia.
