Alison Wood

Alison is a legal assistant working within our conveyancing department. Alison also has a wealth of knowledge in dealing with private client matters. Alison has been with Donaldson West since the firm started in 2001 having previously worked for Cripps Harries Hall.

Charlene Blackmore

Job Titles:

Charlene joined Donaldson West in 2021 as a receptionist and also working for the private client team as a legal assistant. Previously she worked for an established firm of solicitors in Tunbridge Wells working as a receptionist and administrator.

Dawn Prince

Dawn joined Donaldson West in 2015 as a legal secretary and divides her time between working for the private client team and running the reception area. Previously she worked for a local established firm of solicitors for over twenty years working in the probate, conveyancing, family and litigation departments.

Debbie Stevens

Elizabeth Shepperd

Elizabeth joined Donaldson West in October 2022 as a solicitor in the Private Client Team. Elizabeth deals with all aspects of private client services including the applications for Grants of Representation, Administration of Estates, Wills, and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Elizabeth provides bereaved families with supportive legal advice delivered in a sympathetic and caring manner.

Lynda Homer

Lynda joined Donaldson West in October 2022 as a legal secretary in the private client team.

Lynda Russell

Job Titles:
  • Solicitor
Lynda qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and joined Donaldson West in February 2024 having previously trained and worked at firms in Surrey and West Sussex. Lynda has experience in all aspects of residential conveyancing including purchases, sales, transfer of equity and new build. Lynda has a special interest in Lease Extensions acting for both tenants and landlords. Lynda prides herself on providing a personal service and will go above and beyond to ensure the process is as stress free as possible. When Lynda isn't at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and running a local Rainbows and Guide Group.

Mark Williams

Job Titles:

Mark is a consultant solicitor at Donaldson West specialising in all aspects of residential conveyancing. He has worked at Donaldson West for over 20 years and has a wealth of experience dealing with more complex transactions. Mark lives in Tunbridge Wells with his family and is a supporter of the Tunbridge Wells Cricket Club having been also the former Chairman.

Pauline Donaldson

Pauline has been a solicitor in Crowborough since she qualified in 1979. She was a founding partner of Donaldson West when the firm was established in May 2001, having previously been a partner with a large regional firm. Pauline specialises in private client work including the administration of estates, Wills, Powers of Attorney and mental capacity issues. She has acted for generations of clients over the years. Pauline gives legal and practical advice to families who are bereaved or trying to assist elderly relatives who can no longer live independently. The advice and help given by Pauline is offered in a caring, supportive way at a stressful time for many clients.

Roy Willis

Roy qualified as a solicitor in October 1988 and joined Donaldson West as a partner in 2012 having previously spent his career working in London and then for a large corporate firm in Tunbridge Wells. He has extensive experience in all types of non-contentious commercial property work including freehold and leasehold sales with vacant possession and subject to tenancies, acting for landlords and tenants on leases, dealing with licences to assign, licences to underlet and licences for alterations. He also acts for developers and landowners providing advice on option agreements, conditional contracts and overage agreements. His clients include companies, private individuals and parish councils. Roy also acts for buyers and sellers of residential property and is frequently recommended by local estate agents, previous clients and other property professionals. His broad knowledge of property law means that Roy can provide advice on many property related matters such as restrictive covenants and easements.

Sharon Croft

Sharon started her working career in a Magistrates Court as an administration assistant with responsibility for accounts and secretarial services. In 2004, Sharon started to work as a secretary for a local firm of solicitors before joining Donaldson West's conveyancing team in October 2015 as a secretary.

Verity Fytche

Verity qualified as a solicitor in 1994 and joined Donaldson West in 2008 having previously trained and worked in Tunbridge Wells. She has extensive experience in all types of residential Conveyancing including dealing with shared ownership, help to buy schemes and equity release. Verity has also spent many years undertaking private client work and deals with Wills, Lasting Power of Attorneys and dealing with administration of estates. Verity lives locally with her family and her 2 terrier dogs.
