Charlotte is our Company Secretarial Advisor Charlotte joined the Critchleys Outsourcing team in 2021 and is a student member of the Chartered Governance Institute of the UK and Ireland (CGIUKI). She holds a Certificate in Company Secretarial Practice and Share Registration Practice, as well as a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Portsmouth. She is also currently studying towards the Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme. As a Company Secretarial Advisor, Charlotte is responsible for our clients' routine statutory compliance and provides advice on more complicated matters. Typically, she is responsible for filing forms to Companies House for routine company changes, completing Confirmation Statements and Dormant Company Accounts, advising on and completing Incorporations and Dissolutions, and advising on more complex share transactions.

David has worked in the Investment Banking Industry since 1987, including ten years as a Corporate Finance Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and the prior 13 years as an M&A banker with Lehman Brothers based in London and New York. He has worked with a wide variety of public and private companies and with the institutional and private equity investor community. Having headed Lehman's European Industrial Group and then PwC's Industrials team, he has an extensive network of board level relationships amongst many of the world's largest engineering conglomerates. He also has an extensive network of relationships in the mid and small cap market and within private equity. In 2008 David began building PwC's Corporate Finance presence in the Renewable Energy and Cleantech sectors which led to the founding in 2010 of Kinetix, an independent advisory firm working exclusively with companies in the Cleantech and Resource Efficiency Industries. He has led transactions across the Offshore wind, Biomass, Water, Waste to Energy, Micro generation and Home Energy management sectors. Transactions have included corporate disposals, strategic partnerships and fund-raisings working for both established businesses and pre-revenue entities. David qualified as a solicitor in 1986 with Wilde Sapte in London transferring to its New York office before joining Lehman Brothers. David is also a Non-Executive Director of The Alumasc Group Plc and a Non-Executive Director of Xeros Technology Group PLC.

Elinor joined the Critchleys Audit team in May 2017 as a school leaver. She is fully ACA qualified and became an Assistant Audit Manager in 2022. As an Audit Manager, Elinor is the main point of contact for her clients and is responsible for managing the whole audit process from planning to completion. Elinor manages audits and independent examinations for a range of corporate and charity clients and takes on other assurance work, such as grant audits.

Gary is a member of our Audit Team Gary joined Critchleys Audit team in 2019. He qualified as a chartered accountant (ACA) in 2003. Before joining Critchleys, Gary worked for PwC for 15 years and Deloitte for 3 years. During this time he gained a wide range of experience helping clients across a variety of sectors including software, manufacturing, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals and property. Some of these clients were large groups, but he also looked after a variety of smaller clients including start-ups and small, private equity-backed companies. As a Senior Audit Manager, Gary manages the audit process from start to finish, making sure that it is completed as effectively as possible. His aim is to help his clients meet their compliance requirements efficiently and gain fresh insights into their business.

Ian is a Partner and the Head of Business Tax at Critchleys. He and his team take the stress of tax compliance away, allowing clients to concentrate on running their business. Ian is a Partner and the Head of Business Tax at Critchleys Ian is a Chartered Tax Advisor and has considerable experience in the tax and accountancy world. He specialises in helping businesses from owner-managed to large corporates with tax planning and tax mitigation strategies. As well as helping your businesses save tax, Ian works with individuals to provide tax planning throughout their life in areas such as inheritance tax, capital gains tax, income tax and stamp duty land tax.
